The tournament is for MALE AND FEMALE AMATEUR GOLFERS ONLY and shall be conducted in accordance with the R&A Rules Limited, the USGA and the Local Rules of both Camp John Hay Golf Club and Pinewoods Golf and Country Club.

1. Team, composed of four (4) players, will play in a Thirty-Six (36) Hole Competition (2 Days). Each round (18 Holes) will be played at Camp John Hay Golf Club and Pinewoods Golf Club.
2. All players will be playing under the STABLEFORD SCORING SYSTEM governed by following point system:

3. Total Stableford Points of each player will be added for a Team’s total output score. (Four (4) to play, Four (4) to count.) Team with the most Stableford points after the 36 Hole competition in each division, wins.

Alternate Team Member (Optional) Php 12,500.00
*Paid Alternate Team Member shall be accorded with all the privileges (Practice Rounds, Raffle, Giveaways, and Attendance to Welcome Dinner and Awards Night) of a Regular Tournament player.
Each team must have a designated Team Captain who shall ensure that his team members are familiar with the rules of golf, tournament rules and other rules applicable to the competition. The Team Captain is responsible for verifying, authenticating and submitting copies of the handicap indexes of his team members.
Player substitution shall be allowed until 5:00 pm of May 15, 2023 (Monday). Likewise, a substituted player must not affect the Team’s currently posted Classification.
For teams without Paid Alternate Player, substitution is not allowed for any reason once the team has started to play.
Handicap indexes shall be submitted with the team’s application. All participants must have a valid and verifiable World Handicap System (WHS) or other Internationally verifiable handicap. The Committee reserves the right to reject or adjust handicap indexes of a player before or during tournament proper. The LOWEST HANDICAP INDEX for April 2023 be utilized for this year’s tournament. NO WHS/GHIN, NO PLAY.
Handicap index of a player that does not comply with the prescribed Month (April 2023) is subject to a 33% reduction.
The Maximum allowable index of a player is thirty (30). Players with indexes of 30.1 and above are ineligible to participate.
Teams / Individuals shall be disqualified for submitting confirmed false handicap indexes (Rule 3.3b, Rules of Golf) and may be banned from future participation in the CGFI. Team protests must be submitted in writing with an attached proof to the Tournament Committee. The Committee reserves the right to investigate any handicaps.
Teams shall be classified based on the players combined handicap index (Total Players Handicap Index divided by four) for classification purposes. In the event a Team has an alternate, the lowest four indices will be utilized.
Participating Teams will be divided into two (2) categories, Regular Division and Senior Division under the following guidelines:

Requests for team classification, elevation or preferred playing days will not be entertained. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to classify or reclassify any team/s if it deems such change is for the good of the tournament.
Team trophies will be awarded to Champions, 1st Runners-up and 2nd Runners-up for both the Regular Division and Seniors Division.
Trophy will be awarded to each INDIVIDUAL CHAMPION for each Division and will be classified based on the entry of players Handicap Index.
TIES SHALL BE BROKEN AS FOLLOWS:
Team Competition
Best team score for the last 18 holes (Final day score output)
Best team score for the last 9 holes
Best team score on the last hole
Most number of eagles then birdies, then pars, then bogeys
Individual Competition
Final round score of the player
Last 9 holes score of the player
Last hole score of the player
If still tied, hole by hole count back from the 36th hole.
The Tournament Committee will not entertain any requests for tee times or playing dates. Players who join the tournament should be ready to play on any of the dates and tee times assigned to them by the Committee.
Pairings and starting times will be released and posted by the Tournament Secretariat.
Team Captains are responsible for designating Team players order of play. Their names must be submitted no later than 1 hour prior to their tee time. Submission of pairings shall be coursed through the Tournament Secretariat (09178898917) or at the Course Registration.
BLUE TEE shall be used for the Regular Division while WHITE TEE shall be used for the Senior Division.
Questions regarding Rules of Golf shall be referred ONLY to the RULES COMMITTEE.
Any protest must be submitted immediately in writing (signed by the Team Captain) not later than 6:00 pm of the day of the stipulated round.
Decisions of the Rules Committee shall be final.
All players must always maintain the proper pace of play. If a group falls behind by having an open hole in front of them, they will be warned by a course marshal/rules official and asked to speed up play and keep pace with the group ahead.
If they do not, in the opinion of the marshal/official, make a conscious effort to speed up play in the next few holes, the marshal/rules official will time all members of the group.
The rules official doing the timing shall be the sole judge of when it is the players turn to play and he is able to play without interference or distraction. Any player who takes more than forty (40) seconds to play his shot from the time it is his turn to play shall incur a BAD TIME and be subject to the following penalties:

4th | Bad Time | Disqualification for the stipulated round. Player will be asked to discontinue play. |
The group will be timed until they have regained their proper position on the course. A player will carry his bad time for the rest of the round in case their flight falls out of position again.
A player who fails to score a bogey is mandated by the Tournament Committee to stop play of the hole, to speed up play. The player must pick-up his ball and not make a stroke for a double-bogey. Failure to do so is an automatic infraction. The penalty for this infraction is an automatic two (2) point deduction from the team’s points total score for the stipulated round.
The player is responsible for the correctness of the score recorded for each hole on his scorecard. If the player returns a score for any hole lower than actually taken, PLAYER IS DISQUALIFIED FOR THE STIPULATED ROUND. If he returns a score for any hole higher than actually taken, the score as returned stands.
We highly encourage all players to check their scorecard before signing and submission or dropping into the designated Score Box. If any matters arise during play that needs to be settled, check with The Committee before submitting the scorecard. Both player and marker may be disqualified for the submission of an incorrect scorecard.
At any time, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify and / or suspend any team or individual from their participation in the Cordillera Golf Foundation Tournament. Reasons for disqualification/ suspension may include the following:
Disrespect to the sponsors, tournament officials and staff.
Unbecoming conduct and gross violations of the Rules of Golf and serious breach of golf etiquette by any team member/s during the tournament.
Violation of the House Rules of both Host Clubs.
Whether intentional or not, misrepresentation and/or playing under any other identity.
The Tournament is deemed to be closed after the awarding of trophy prize in each division.
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to make REVISions at its discretion – to adjust or forego – if it feels that such actions are IN the best interestS of the tournament.
