ENTRY OF ELIGIBILITY

  • Eligibility: Exclusive to CAGC members.
  • Roster Submission: Clubs must submit an official roster of bonafide CAGC members by July 31, 2024 (Wednesday).

TICKET PRICE

  • CAGC Members: ₱3,000 per player. Includes registration fee, caddy fee, lunch/dinner, cocktails, and raffle prizes.

TOURNAMENT RULES

  • The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the USGA and R&A Rules of Golf, along with Local Rules of CAGC.
  • Handicap System: WHS course handicap will apply.
    • Cut-off for handicap is on 31 July 2024.
    • Players without a WHS Handicap will play with a 0 Handicap.
    •  Single Entry: Each player is allowed only one (1) entry for the entire tournament.

TEAM GROUPING

Divisions:

DIVISION I – 0 to 9DIVISION II – 10 to 18DIVISION III – 19 and above

Team Composition:

  • Each club can field a maximum of two (2) teams per division.
  • Each team will consist of five (5) players, with the best four (4) scores counting towards the team score.
  • Clubs may field a total of six (6) teams across all divisions.
  • In cases where more members wish to participate, additional teams may be entered as a separate club entry (e.g., Club 2).
  • Emergency Substitution: In case of emergencies, alternate players may be substituted, provided they belong to a division equal to or lower than the primary player’s division.

  • Format: 18-Hole Stroke Play using the Molave Points System:

SCORING & AWARDS

Overall Champion:

  • Determined by the team with the highest total points.
  • Clubs fielding two (2) teams can earn points in both teams’ respective categories.

Tee-Off Schedule:

  • September 14, 2024 (Saturday):
    • Shotgun Start: 6:30 AM
    • Registration: 5:00 AM
    • Players must be at their assigned holes by 6:20 AM
  • September 20, 2024 (Friday):
    • Morning Shotgun Start: 6:30 AM
    • Afternoon Shotgun Start: 12:00 NN
    • Registration: 10:00 AM
    • Players must be at their assigned holes by 11:45 AM
  • September 21, 2024 (Saturday):
    • Morning Shotgun Start: 6:30 AM
    • Afternoon Shotgun Start: 12:00 NN
    • Registration: 10:00 AM
    • Players must be at their assigned holes by 11:45 AM

Cocktails, Awarding, and Raffle:

  • Ceremony: 6:00 PM, September 21, 2024 (CAGC Restaurant Extension).
  • Raffle: Physical presence is NOT required for minor and major prizes.

TIEBREAKERS

  • Team Ties: If a tie occurs, the score of the 5th player will break the tie. If still tied, the score of the top player will be tallied, followed by the second, and so on. If one team lacks a 5th player, that team automatically loses.

EQUIPMENT

  • Distance Measuring Devices (DMDs): Players may use devices that only measure distance. Devices that measure additional conditions are prohibited.
    • Penalty: Disqualification.

COMMITTEE & ADMINISTRATION

  • The Tournament & Rules Committee is responsible for administering the competition.
  • The committee reserves the right to amend rules before or during the tournament.
  • Disputes: The committee’s decision will be final.
  • The tournament will be deemed closed once all awards and trophies have been presented.

OTHER DETAILS

Deadlines:

  • Roster Submission: July 31, 2024
  • Player/Team List with Alternates: August 20, 2024
  • Payment Deadline: August 31, 2024

Inclement Weather Policy:

  • If players cannot complete 18 holes due to inclement weather, zero points will be recorded for unfinished holes. A makeup day will be scheduled before September 20, 2024, except for players competing on September 20 and 21, 2024.
  • Teams are encouraged to play on September 14, 2024, to safeguard against bad weather.

Scorecard Submission:

  • Morning schedule scorecards must be submitted by 12:00 noon.
  • Afternoon schedule scorecards must be submitted by 6:00 PM.
  • Late submissions will be invalid.
