1. RULES OF GOLF
The 17th Davao Eaglemasters Golf Tournament shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by The R&A and the USGA, these Terms of Competition, the Local Rules approved by the Tournament Committee, and the Local Rules of APO Golf & Country Club, Rancho Palos Verdes Golf & Country Club, and South Pacific Golf & Country Club.
In case of conflict, these Terms of Competition and any written notice issued by the Tournament Committee shall prevail over a host club Local Rule. The Tournament Committee shall have the final authority to interpret and apply the Rules and these Terms of Competition.

A player’s division and tee box are determined by the team or individual category in which the player is officially entered. Age is determined as of September 17, 2026.

All divisions shall play all designated hole-in-one par-3 holes from the same Committee-marked teeing area for hole-in-one prize purposes. The Committee will identify those teeing areas before play.

Seniors, Super Seniors, and Ladies who elect to join or form a team in the Regular Division shall be classified as Regular Division players for the tournament and shall play from the applicable Regular Division tee and use the Stableford point system.
9. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION AND CLASSIFICATION
Individual awards shall be contested within the player’s registered category and classification. Gross awards are based on gross points. Net awards shall be determined using the Committee-approved handicap application announced before the start of play.

A player must complete all three assigned rounds to qualify for cumulative individual awards, unless the Committee announces otherwise. A disqualified, withdrawn, or incomplete round remains subject to the Rules and may affect eligibility for individual prizes.

13. TIME OF STARTING AND LATE ARRIVAL
A player who is not present and ready to play at the assigned starting time is late. Unless the Committee announces a different procedure, the late player shall receive zero (0) points for each missed hole and may join the assigned group at the next tee to be played, without delaying the group. A player who joins at an unauthorized location or causes undue delay may be disqualified.

16. TIES
Team Competition. Ties shall be broken in the following order:
Individual Gross or Net Competition. Ties shall be broken by the Committee’s countback using the player’s final-round points, then final 9 holes, final 6 holes, final 3 holes, and 18th hole. If still tied, the Committee may use the player’s preceding round, conduct a playoff, or draw lots.
Special Awards. Ties for special awards shall be resolved by the Committee’s announced countback or proximity procedure.

Advice may be given only as permitted by the Rules of Golf. A Team Captain, teammate, coach, spectator, or other person must not give advice to a player during the player’s round unless specifically authorized under the Rules or by a Committee Local Rule. The player is responsible for stopping unauthorized advice when aware of it.

24. DISQUALIFICATION AND WITHDRAWAL
Grounds for team disqualification may include fielding an ineligible or falsely identified player, falsifying handicap information, entering a player on multiple teams, deliberate score manipulation, failure to pay required fees, refusal to follow Committee instructions, or serious misconduct by team members.
Individual disqualification applies as provided by the Rules of Golf and these Terms of Competition. Unless the Committee decides otherwise, an individual disqualification from one round does not automatically disqualify the player from later rounds; however, the disqualified round scores zero points and the player may become ineligible for cumulative individual awards.
A player or team that withdraws must promptly notify the Tournament Secretariat and must not abandon the course without advising an official, except in an emergency.
25. MEDICAL, SAFETY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
26. PUBLICITY, DATA, AND TOURNAMENT RECORDS
By participating, players authorize the Tournament Organizer to process registration, identity, handicap, scoring, contact, and prize information for tournament administration, results, verification, safety, and legitimate publicity, subject to applicable data-protection law. Players also consent to reasonable photography, video, and publication of names, teams, scores, and results in connection with the tournament.
27. OFFICIAL NOTICES AND AMENDMENTS
Official notices, Local Rules, schedules, pairings, results, amendments, and announcements may be posted at host courses, released through FilGolf or the official Davao EagleMasters channels, or communicated by the Tournament Secretariat. Each player and Team Captain is responsible for checking official notices. The Committee may amend these Terms of Competition before or during the tournament when necessary.
28. CLOSE OF COMPETITION
The competition is closed when the Tournament Committee has officially announced the final results and the championship trophies have been awarded. After the competition is closed, results may be corrected only as permitted by the Rules of Golf.
