TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES & CONDITIONS OF PLAY

REGISTRATION:

5:30 AM – 7:30 AM

TEE-OFF TIME:

7:30 AM (Shotgun Start)
Note: Tee-off times and pairings will be posted on the day of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT FEE:

P15,000/team
Payment must be made in advance to secure your slot (first-come, first-served basis). No reservation of slots without payment.

Team Composition:

  1. Male-Male, Male-Female, or Female-Female golfers. ( All Amateur only )

Each participant is entitled to:

  1. Buffet lunch during the awarding ceremony
  2. Exciting raffle prizes
  3. Giveaways, including a gift coupon worth P4,000 from Dynamic Sports (redeemable on tournament day)
  4. Three (3) green fee coupons per player (valid until December 31, 2024, NO extension)

Each participant is entitled to:

  1. October 15, 2024
    A maximum of 64 teams can participate.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY:

2-Day Tournament: November 16 & 17, 2024

FORMAT OF PLAY:

2-MAN TEAM (with applied handicaps)

  1. Day 1: Aggregate
  2. Day 2: Four-Ball (Best Ball)

TOURNAMENT RULES:

  1. Slow Play Penalties:
    1st Warning – No stroke penalty
    2nd Warning – 1-stroke penalty
    3rd Warning – 2-stroke penalty
    4th Warning – Disqualification from the day’s play
  2. Winning Criteria:
    The team with the highest points accumulated on Day 2 will be declared the winner. In case of ties, USGA rules for card matching will apply.
  3. Scorecards:
    Cross-scoring is in effect. Scorecards must be signed by both the scorer and the attester. Unsigned scorecards will result in disqualification.
  4. USGA/R&A Rules govern all play in conjunction with local rules. The Tournament Committee will handle all rule disputes.

Rules Committee:

  1. TVP, OM, & Larry Tamayo.

CADDIE & CART FEES:

  1. Caddie Fee: P600/player
  2. Cart: 1 Golf Cart per team (player’s account)

MULLIGAN:

P200/player per day (front & back), but cannot be used on the green.

HOLE IN ONE :

All Par 3’s are multiple hole in one prizes, they have designated prize on each hole on the green. Mulligan shot is not allowed in hole in one prize.

TEES:

  1. Blue Tees for men
  2. White Tees for Seniors (60-74 yrs.) and Junior Golfers (18 yrs. and below)
  3. Silver Tees for Super Seniors (75 yrs. and above)
  4. Red Tees for women

CLASSIFICATION:

Handicap indexes are used for classification purposes, calculated by dividing combined handicaps by 2.

  1. Class A: Handicap 0 to 7.9
  2. Class B: Handicap 8.0 to 13.9
  3. Class C :Handicap 14.0 – 17.9
  4. Class D :Handicap 18.0 – 30.0 (max.)
  5. Sponsors Division: ( System 36 format)
    All handicaps are subject to review by the Tournament Committee.

Handicap Indexes:

  • NGAP handicap index as of October 30, 2024, will be used. Players without an index will be assigned a 0 handicap. The lowest handicap index will be used for players with multiple club memberships.

WINNERS:

Class A to D – Gross Champion, Net Champion, Net Runner-Up

Individual: Low Gross and Low Net Champion

Sponsors Division: Champion and Runner-Ups

TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE:

  1. Bag Drop: State your full name at the bag drop area and receive a bag tag.
  2. Registration: Confirm tee time at least 30 minutes before the shotgun start at the front desk.
  3. Shotgun Start: Proceed to your assigned hole for the shotgun start.
  4. Scorecards: Ensure accuracy and submit at the starter house (no changes allowed after submission).
  5. Club Count: Maximum of 14 clubs allowed.
  6. Non-Conforming Drivers: R&A/USGA-approved drivers only.
  7. Final Decisions: Tournament Committee decisions are final. The competition closes once the trophy is awarded.

DRESS CODE:

  1. Not Permitted: Jeans, maong, sando, collarless shirts, metal spikes.
  2. No reservation of golf carts.

RAFFLE:

The minor raffle will be pre-drawn on November 17, 2024. Presence is required for major raffle prizes.

LOCAL RULES:

  1. Drop a ball at the nearest point of relief with a 1-stroke penalty if the ball is lost or touches the landscape area.
  2. For Hole 5, players failing to cross the water hazard margin must re-tee with a 1-stroke penalty.
  3. All GURs and young trees are marked with blue stakes.
  4. Bridges are part of water hazards.
  5. The line itself is out of bounds on Holes 5, 16, 17, and 18.
  6. Players may place the ball to the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, if the ball rests on the greenside collar.
  7. Hole 17’s designated drop zone must be used if a ball enters a hazard.
  8. Hole 8: Balls sliced into Hole 2 are considered out of bounds.

In case of doubt, play two-ball and request a ruling from the golf operations staff.
