TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

CONDITIONS OF PLAY:

Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A Rules Ltd., the USGA and the Local Rules of the Club printed on the Scorecard & Notice Board.

FORMAT OF PLAY:

For players with WHS, One 18-hole round with handicap. Scores will be converted to STABLEFORD POINTS as follows:

1 pt Net Bogey
2 pts Net Par
3 pts Net Birdie

4 pts Net Eagle
5 pts Net Double Eagle
6 pts Natural Hole-in-One

*No Gimmes, except to speed up play, players MUST pick up their ball after Net Bogey.
*Players must write the GROSS SCORES on the tournament scorecard.

For players without WHS, System36 Format.

*No Gimmes, except to speed up play, players MUST pick up their ball after Triple Bogey.
*Players must write the GROSS SCORES on the tournament scorecard.

HANDICAPS:

Players will use their March 16, 2023 WHS Handicap on the course and tee box played. Maximum handicap is 36.

TEES:

All MEN will use WHITE Tee and All LADIES will use RED Tee.

CLASSIFICATION:

All Players, men and ladies, with WHS handicap will be classified accordingly to their handicaps and will use a Stableford format.

All players, men and ladies, without a WHS handicap will all be classified under Open Division using System 36 format.

DIVISIONS:

Stableford with Handicap

Class A – Hdcp 0-7

Class B – Hdcp 8-14

Class C – Hdcp 15-21

Class D – Hdcp 22-36

Ladies Division - All ladies with handicap

System 36

Open Division – Players without WHS Handicap
(Not included for Lowest Gross and Lowest Net Champion)

AWARDING AND PRIZES:

Awards will be given to the following:

BEST LOW NET CHAMPION
BEST LOW GROSS CHAMPION

CHAMPION AND RUNNER UP in each division.

HOLE-IN-ONE AND FUN HOLE PRIZES will also be up for grabs.

Note: Any applicable “winner’s tax” is payable by the winner.

MULLIGANS:

Mulligan – Php 500

One Front and One Back

TIES:

Ties will be settled as follows:

Class A,B,C,D and Ladies

- Lower Course Handicap

- Most number of Holes-in-one

- Most number of double eagles

- Most number of eagles

- Most number of birdies

- Most number of pars

- draw lots
