1. Host Country:  The Republic of the Philippines
2. Host Organization:  Federation of Philippine Amateur Senior Golfers, Inc. (FPASGI) will be the host of the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championships 2026.

1. FPASGI Board Oversight – The FPASI Board of Directors shall exercise overall supervision, policy direction, and oversight of all activities and undertakings pertaining to the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championship.  The Organizing Committee and its various support committees shall be responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of all activities and requirements related to the successful conduct of the Championship.
2. Tournament Director – The Tournament Director shall have overall responsibility for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and operational management of the Championship. The Tournament Director shall ensure that all tournament activities are conducted efficiently, safely and in accordance with the approved program, rules, policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
3. The Tournament Director shall be supported by Eagle Ridge Golf Operations, the FPASGI Secretariat, Transportation Committee, and other designated committees and working groups, which shall coordinate closely to ensure the smooth and timely execution of all tournament activities.
4. The FPASGI Board provides strategic direction and oversight, while the Tournament Director serves as the principal operational authority responsible for the day-to-day conduct of the Championship.

1. The Championships will be played on 26, 27 and 28 October 2026.

1. The Championships will be played at:
   1. Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club

1. The Championships are open to members of the Member Associations within the Confederation of ASEAN Senior Golfers Association (CASGA).
   1. Those who are amateurs under the Rules of Amateur Status.
   2. Those who will be at least 55 years of age on 26^th October 2026, and
   3. Those who possess valid USGA handicaps.
2. Participation in the Championships will be accepted only through the member Associations of CASGA.  The Committee reserves the right to amend the handicap index for entry if deemed necessary.  It also retains the right to accept or reject, or once accepted, subsequently withdraw any entry without explanation.  Furthermore, the Committee may increase the number of entries if it is considered appropriate.
3. The respective golf course will be limited to 128 players for each session’s Stroke Play and Stableford.

1. The completed Entry Form, together with an Entry Fee of USD350 per participant, must be received at the Secretariat Office of the Federation of Philippine Amateur Senior Golfers, Inc (FPASGI) on or before the closing date of 20^th August 2026 (not later than 4:00 pm local time).  There is no Entry Fee for team Events.

   Remittances should be net of all bank fees and other handling Charges.

   Entry Fees will cover green fees, and buggy fees for three rounds of golf,  lunches, fairway snacks, opening  and  closing  ceremonies, ground transfers.

3. Entry Fees will not be refunded if withdrawal is made after 1 month before the tournament date up at 4:00 pm.

The World Handicap System (WHS) USGA Handicap for 1^st September 2026 will be used for submission of entries.

1. The championships will be divided into:
   1. Stroke Play.
      The Stroke Play will be played over three rounds or 54 holes, 36 holes at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, Nick Faldo and Andy Dye Championship Courses.   In the Stroke Play, the Championship is Gross taking precedence over Net.
   2. Stableford Play.
      The Stableford Play will be played over two rounds or 36 holes of 18 holes at Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club, Nick Faldo and Andy Dye Championship Courses.  The Ambassador Round will be played either in Andy Dye or Nick Faldo Courses, depending on the alternating golfing event days.
2. Participants will compete in only one format of play, either Stableford, or Stroke Play.
3. All Stroke players must hole out every on every hole, except for the Stableford; otherwise, ‘Disqualification Rules’ shall apply.
4. The Organizing Committee may cancel any round or rounds if it determines that the course is not in playable condition or circumstances prevent the proper conduct of the competition.

1. The Committee will publish the draw with starting times and the course for each day of play.  If a player arrives at the starting point ready to play within 5 minutes after his starting time, in the absence of the circumstances which warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification provided in Rule 5.3a.  The penalty for failure to start on time is two (2) penalty strokes for Stroke Play competitors and the deduction of two (2) points from the total score for Stableford players.  The penalty for a late show beyond 5 minutes is Disqualification.

1. Each hole has been assigned a maximum completion time based on its length and difficulty.  The time sheet for completing each of the 18 holes will be decided by the Chief Referee and displayed on the noticeboard.
2. In the absence of mitigating circumstances, a group is liable to be timed out if it exceeds the permitted time and, in the case of second or subsequent groups, is out of position.
3. The first group and any subsequent groups after a starter’s gap will be considered “Out of Position” if, at any point during the round, their cumulative time exceeds the allowed time for the number of holes completed.  Any following group will be considered “Out of Position” if it is more than the starting interval behind the group in front and has also exceeded the allowed time for the number of holes completed.
4. From the start of timing, if any player exceeds 40 seconds on a “first to play” approach shot (including a par three tee shot), chip, or putt, or 40 seconds for a tee shot or a “second or third to play” shot, they are deemed to have a bad time.
5. A player whose group is timed will face a poor outcome carried forward in the round, even if the group later returns to its original position or within the time limit.
6. Penalty for Breach of Pace of Play:
   1. 1 bad time      –      Verbal warning from Referee
   2. 2 bad times    –      1 stroke penalty
   3. 3 bad times    –      2 strokes penalty
   4. 4 bad times    –     Disqualification

1. STROKE PLAY

   1. Individual Championship
      This competition will be played over 54 holes and is open to Competitors with a valid WHS Handicap Index of no more than 15.9 (Club Handicap 18 and below).

   2. The Sultan Salahuddin Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the Competitor with the lowest overall gross score across the stipulated rounds, making him the 40^th ASEAN Seniors Golf Championships 2026 – Individual Champion for the Best Gross
   3. The Mondonedo Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the competitor who returns the lowest net score over the stipulated rounds, and he will be the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championships 2026 – Individual Champion Overall for the Best Net.
2. TEAM EVENTS CHAMPIONSHIP
   1. This Gross Event Competition will be played over 54 holes and  is open only to competitors with a valid WHS Handicap of 10.8 (Club Handicap 12 and below).  Each Member Association may enter a team of 4 to 6 players (4 to count).
   2. The Tun Sir Henry H.S. Lee Challenge Trophy will be awarded to competitors with the lowest gross score over the stipulated rounds, and the team will be recognized as the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championships 2026 – Team Champion Overall Best Gross.
   3. This Net Event Competition will be played over 54 holes and is open only to competitors with a valid WHS Handicap index not exceeding 14.2 (Club handicap 16 and below).  Each Member Association may enter one team 4 to 6 players (4 to count).

   4. The Zakir Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the competitors with the lowest net score over the stipulated rounds, and the team will be declared the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championships 2026 – Team Champion Overall Best Net.

3. The aggregate of the best three (3) scores of each round will be the team’s score of the day.
4. STABLEFORD
   1. Individual Championships
      This competition will be played over 36 holes.
      
   2. The Toh Shung Chee Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the competitor who returns the most Stableford points over 36 holes over the stipulated rounds, and he will be the 40^th ASEAN Senior Amateur Golf Championships 2026 – Individual Champion, Best Stableford Event.

1. Players in the Stableford Competition will be divided into six (6) Age Groups as stated below:

2. The competitor who scores the most Stableford points in each Age Group will be declared the winner for that particular group.

1. Each Member Association may enter one (1) team comprising eight (8) players, at least one of whom must be from each of the six (6) Age Groups, except if the Association has no participants in the group.
2. The aggregate scores of all players will be the team score for the round.

3. The Chamnian Pongpairojana Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the team with the highest total Stableford points over 36 holes.

1. To ensure a smooth pace of play and safety, as well as to help players looking for their balls, forecaddies should be placed at strategic points whenever possible.  When a forecaddie is available, they are there to assist a player as described above and will not be considered part of the committee.
2. Any error made by a forecaddie is not the responsibility of the committee.  A player may accept and /or follow the information provided by a forecaddie or disregard it,

1. Each player shall be designated as a ‘Marker’ (Rule 3.3b) to record the score of another player in the same flight.  The marker shall be responsible for accurately recording the player’s score after each hole.  Each player is to verify and record the score of every other player in the same flight before teeing off from the next teeing ground.
2. After completion of each round, the player shall:
   
   1. Check his hole-by-hole score for accuracy.
   2. Resolve any uncertainties with the committee.
   3. Ensure that his marker has signed his scorecard in front of the scorer.
   4. Countersign his scorecard within Fifteen (15) minutes after completing the round.
3. A penalty for breach is disqualification, unless someone is waiting to resolve any doubtful points with the committee.
4. A specific Scoring Area will be designated for the submission of scorecards.
5. Rule 3.3b(3) Wrong Score for Hole – “The player is responsible for the correctness of the score recorded for each hole on his scorecard.  If he returns a score for any hole lower than the actual score, he will be disqualified.  If he returns a score for any hole higher than taken, the score as returned stands.”

Four Under Net (-4) or 40 Stableford Points is the maximum score allowed for any round.

1. A competitor scoring four under Net (-4) or 40 Stableford Points, or better, in any round, will have his handicap adjusted according to the Arbitrary Cut table below, and he will play to his adjusted handicap in the following round/(s).

1. The Lela Pahlawan Challenge trophy will be awarded to the team with the highest total points earned in:

   3. Salahuddin Challenge Trophy – Individual Stroke Play Event.
   4. The Mondonedo Challenge Trophy – Individual Stroke Play Event (Nett Score).
   5. The Toh Shung Chee Trophy – Individual Stableford Event.
   6. Chamnian Pongpairojana Challenge Trophy – Team Stableford.

1. Individual Stableford Age-Group Event
   1. Individual Age Group-Group Event, associations will initially be awarded points based on the positions achieved by their players in each group.

   2. If there are less/fewer than six (6) players in any Age Group, the association winning first place will be awarded as many points as there are players in that Age Group, and the Association placed last will get one (1) point.  The total of the points accrued by the Age Groups A to F will constitute the scores of the Association.

1. In the event of a tie for any position, the tie will be decided by On Count Back (OCB) in the following order of manner:

      (1) Gross
          (a) Higher handicap
          (b) Last 18, 9, 6, 3, last

      (2) Nett & Stableford
          (a) Lower Handicap
          (b) Last 18, 9, 6, 3, last hole and by lot

   2. Team Event
      (1) Team’s Score for the last 18 holes
      (2) The aggregate of handicaps from the contributing players
      (3) Gross: Higher Aggregate Handicaps
      (4) Net & Stableford: Lower Aggregate Handicaps
      

1. Any disputes or doubtful points regarding the rules shall be referred to the committee as soon as possible after the round’s completion, and in any case, no later than thirty (30) minutes after finishing a round.

2. The Appeal Committee consists of:
   1. Chairman/Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee
   2. Tournament Director
   3. Chief Referee
   4. All Team Captains

1. Each Member Association must appoint a Team Captain during the Championship.

1. The Tournament Committee shall make all decisions regarding this  Championship, and its decision is final.
2. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to add or amend the ToC as it deems fit.
3. All decisions made by the Tournament Committee shall be final.
