2024 CAGC YEAR END GOLF TOURNAMENT

SCORING

I. SCHEDULE

Dates:

  1. November 20-22, 2024 (Wed-Fri): Sequential Tee-Off
  2. November 23, 2024 (Sat): Double Shotgun
  3. November 23, 2024 (Sat): Awarding Ceremony, Restaurant Extension (Open Area)

II. REGISTRATION AND TEE-OFF TIME

Eligibility: CAGC Members and Guests

  1. Note: Only members are eligible to win the grand raffle while guest and members are eligible to win minor and major raffle prizes.

Registration:

  1. In-person registration only
  2. Opens at 0500H

Tee-Off Times:

  1. 0630H (morning)
  2. 1200H (noon)

Entry Fee: ₱5,500.00 (inclusive of the following):

    1. Registration Fee
    2. Cart Sharing
    3. Giveaways (including a ₱3,000 Gift Certificate from K&G Golf)
    4. Cocktails
    5. Lunch/Dinner
    6. Raffle Prizes

Mulligan:

  1. Available for ₱300.00 per set (front & back nine)
  2. 50% of collections will be raffled
  3. Note: Mulligan shots are ineligible for Hole-in-One or Fun Hole prizes

III. CONDITIONS OF PLAY/FORMAT

Rules:

    1. Governed by USGA, Royal & Ancient Golf Rules, and CAGC Local Rules

Scoring Format:

    1. 18-hole competition using the Molave Points Scoring System (gross scores)
      1. Handicaps are for classification only
      2. Based on NGAP WHS handicaps (current course handicap applies)
      3. Players without a WHS Handicap will have 0 handicap

Categories & Tee Assignments:

  1. Regular Men’s Division – Blue Tees
  2. Ladies Division – Red Tees
  3. Senior Divisions (by age group) – White Tees
  4. Junior Golfers:
      1. Divisions 1 & 2: Blue Tees
      2. Division 3: Red Tees
      3. Division 4: Forward tees (yardage to be announced)
  5. Guest Division – Blue/White Tees

Tiebreakers: Decided by countback in the following order:

  1. Back nine total score
  2. Front nine total score
  3. Hole-by-hole starting from Hole 18 to Hole 1
  4. Coin toss

IV. TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE

  1. Responsible for administering the tournament and reserves the right to amend the rules as necessary.
  2. Changes will be announced and posted for all participants.
  3. Final decisions on disputes rest with the Tournament Committee.
  4. The tournament is officially closed once trophies are awarded.

V. AWARDING CEREMONY

Venue: Restaurant Extension (Open Area)

    1. 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70-74 | 75 & above
    2. Champion & Runner-Up in each bracket
  4. Ladies Division:
    1. Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up
    2. Class A (0-10), Class B (11-18), Class C (19 & above)
  5. Junior Golfers (by age brackets):
    1. Div. 1: 18-15 yrs | Div. 2: 14-12 yrs
    2. Div. 3: 11-9 yrs | Div. 4: 8 yrs & below
    3. Champion only per division
  6. Guest Division: Champion
