Tournament Notice

April 3, 4, 5 & 6 (Thursday - Sunday)

  1. Maximum of 144 teams.
  2. Tournament fee shall be Php20,000 / team.
  3. Entry to the minor and major raffle, dinner buffet, cocktails and two (2) weekday complimentary practice rounds for guests.
  4. Guests of fully paid teams can avail their complimentary two weekday practice rounds starting March 3, 2025 up to April 30, 2025.
  5. Tournament slots will be reserved for teams that have paid half of the entry fee amounting Php 10,000.
  6. Cancellation should be made two (2) weeks in advance or else your tournament fee will be forfeited. (March 19, 2025)

Manner of Play

The competition format for both days shall be the 4-Ball Stableford Points net of handicap.

All players will play their own ball for the entire round for two days of competition. The team score will be compromised of 3 parts: (a) the total Stableford points based on net score of the member-player: (b). the total Stableford points based on the net score of the guest-players; and 9 ( c ) The total Stableford points of the better /best ball based on the net for each hole of the team , then will then be added to the member and guest aggregate net score. For example; net score of member is par =2 points, net score of guest is bogey = 1 point, best ball /score is net par = 2 points, total points for the team on that hole is 5 points.

At the end of the competition, the team with the highest TOTAL (team aggregate + best ball/score for 2 playing days) number of Stableford points will be declared the champion, the next highest as 1st runner-up, and so on.

HANDICAP:

The lowest handicap index among the team members will determine the team’s division. Handicap Index as of March 15, 2025 shall be used for the tournament. Players without a valid handicap shall play a handicap of Zero

(The Tournament Committee has the right to review and adjust handicap indexes or divisions based on the players historical scores on previous, including but not limited to; Limestone Tee scores, and other known Member- Guests tournaments.)

For-example: A player was known to have scored-8 or better in a recent/previous tournament. Player shall be subject to investigation handicap may be adjusted or the team moved to a higher division. The players subject to handicap adjustment shall be informed of the adjustment before the start of the tournament.

A maximum handicap for guest will be 20 for men and 24 for ladies while 32 for members. Competitors are required to submit their March 15, 2025 indexes upon registration(NGAP WHS). Competitors without a valid handicap index shall play to zero(0). The lowest index will be used for Guests with multiple memberships.

Handicap Deduction Based on the Players Score:

  1. A score of 4 to 6 under the players handicap will result to a minus 2 deduction on the players handicap for the second day.
  2. A score of 7 to 9 under the players handicap will result to a minus 4 deduction for the second day.
  3. A score of 10 under or more the players handicap will result to a minus 6 deduction on the players handicap for the second day.

    5. Senior’s Division (55 years & above) ( both players should be seniors)**

** If less than 10 teams comprising of both seniors players register we will have a division 5 instead of a Seniors division and adjustments for handicap bracket shall be done accordingly.

TIES:

Over -all – Competition- If tied after two rounds, total points on the last 18 holes. If still tied, total points on the last nine holes(10-18), last six holes (13-18), last three holes (16-18), 18th, 17th.. if still tie, will be decided by a toss coin.

** 32 Sponsor slots are reserved for April 4 & 6 (Friday & Sunday slots). TheCommittee shall raffle off the 40 slots available live on March 15, 2025- Saturdayat the Veranda , automatically those not chosen will have slots for April 3&5( Thursday & Saturday).

A player who arrives late is not disqualified. The player receives zero(0) points on the hole’s that he/she failed to play. The player will be allowed to start on the next hole in play based on the hole assignments or the following hole where his/her group is currently on. (Ex. Flight is currently playing their 4th hole, the late player will start play on hole 5).

Hole -In- One:

All Par 3’s will have a hole in prize. In case of multiple winners, the prize shall be divided equally or will be based on the hole prize sponsor agreement/conditions.

Mulligans:

Mulligans for the Tournament shall be mandatory. Mulligans may be used anywhere (e,g. 2 mulligan in one 9, in one hole, etc) except on the putting surface.

Mulligans are not valid for hole in one prizes.

Local Rules:

Landscape areas and all rock formations are considered an integral part of the course. The ball must be played as it lies or take an UNPLAYABLE Lie (Rule19. 2a, 19.2b, 19. 2c).

Abnormal course conditions, such as liners on the bunkers are subject to Free relief (rule# 16).

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

  1. The Fourteen-Club Rule is in effect (4-4a)
  2. Scorecards shall be exchanged with fellow competitors on the first hole of play for both days. (6-6a)
  3. Scorecards shall be completed, signed, attested and returned to the scorer’s table ( Rule 6-6b) within 20 minutes after the round.
  4. In case of flights compromising of only one team a Caddy- Scorer will be assigned for the flight. If the flight was originally a two-team flight by circumstance-then becomes a solo team flight during the round, it will be the responsibility of the solo team flight to call a Caddy-Scorer via Front desk registration and/or mar-shall. (Registration 09171150736) if a solo team flight proceeds to finish a hole without a Caddy-Scorer, both player will receive zero points for the hole. After 2 straight holes Without Caddy-Scorer, team may be disqualified and scores will not be counted.
  5. Top Speed up play, please pick up when playing for net double or when ball is within gimme circle(18 inches).
  6. Doubt as to procedure: in stroke play, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights or the correct procedure during the play of hole, he may without penalty, compete the hole with two balls. (Rule 3-3)
  7. Sprinkler heads, irrigation controller’s light poles and French drains are immovable obstructions, “Free Drop” within 1 club length not nearer the hole.
  8. Rule changes for 2019 are in effect. Except the MODEL LOCAL RULE E-5 which is the “Alternative to stroke & distance for lost ball or out of bounds. ”Players cannot drop in the fairway if their ball is lost or deemed out of bounds. Players must play under Stroke & Distance from the closest position where they last hit, hot nearer the hole.
  9. The use of distance measuring devices are allowed, provided that they measure distance only. Device that measure other conditions which might affect play (e.g. wind speed or slope of the ground) are not acceptable.
  10. Questions and disputes will be referred to the Tournament Committee whose decision shall be final.
  11. Designed Drop Zones (for balls inside both red/yellow penalty) with a one stroke penalty.
  12. Location
    1. Hole 8: before creek/hazard-
    2. Hole 13: near Red Tee or option to re-tee-

    3. Hole 15: 150 yard drop zone (only if it virtually certain that the players ball last crossed the margin of the left side. Red penalty area after the 150 yard mark, only then when will the player be entitled to utilized Drop zone. Should it be virtually certain that the players ball last crossed the margin of the left red penalty area before 150 yard mark you may opt to re-tee or drop point of entry 2 club lengths not nearer the hole.)(Rule17.1D)
  13. No putting ball, players are not allowed to substitute their ball on the Putting surface. Penalty for Breach of this rule: 2 Stroke penalty for the player.
  14. Pairing request will not be entertained.
  15. Let us all enjoy and keep the integrity of the game of golf, uphold principles of sportsmanship and values. Players and caddies that violate tournament rules may be banned/expelled from the Club.

  6. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to change/amend rules, pairings and all matters related to the tournament and its decision shall be final.
