IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT REMINDERS

RULES OF PLAY – Conducted in accordance with the Rules of Golf of the Royal and Ancient Golf (R&A Rules Limited) and the Local Rules of ACCI.

The Tournament is a 36- hole MODIFIED STABLEFORD competition among teams of two individuals, composed of an ACCI Member and his or her guest.

HANDICAP RULE – Only Handicap Index cards coming from WORLD HANDICAPPING SYSTEM (WHS) of the Philippines shall be accepted.  Foreign participants may submit any USGA recognized Handicap Index.

ACCI Members shall use his or her  December 16, 2022, Handicap Index. If the ACCI  Member has no established handicap index, he or she may use his/ her lowest  December 16,  2022 Handicap index from other golf clubs where appropriate.  If he or she has none, he or she will play with a zero (0) handicap.

A guest shall use his or her lowest UNHS handicap index for December 16, 2022.  If a player cannot submit a handicap index, he/she shall play with a zero (0) handicap unless the Committee determines that the guest may have a plus (+) handicap. The maximum allowed handicap index for male guest is 15.9 or an equivalent of 18 at ACCI.

All female participants shall be given a handicap adjustment of their blue tee handicap as stipulated under RULE 6.2b in the USGA Handicap Manual. The maximum handicap for a female guest is 24.

LOCAL RULES

HOLE IN ONE – In the event that there is more than one winner for a particular hole, the winners will share the prize in a manner agreed upon by the winners.  Winners shall be responsible for all applicable taxes.

MULLIGAN RULES – It is MANDATORY for all players to purchase two (2) mulligans for Php 500.00 each 18 holes. These mulligans may be used anywhere on the course except on the putting green. When mulligans are to be used to re-playing. The ball must be placeds at the same spot or area where the last shot was played. The previous shot must be abandoned and the mulligan ball will now be in play. MULLIGANS are not eligible to win any of the HOLE-IN-ONE prizes.

PACE OF PLAY & CADDIES – Marshals and Rules Officials will monitor and control the pace of play, players are obliged to cooperate. Caddies Fees are to be paid directly to the Caddie immediately after the round. Minimum CADDIES FEE is set at Php 800.00 per round.

SIZE OF FIELDS AND TEE-OFF SCHEDULE

The field will be divided into four (4) classes – A, B, C, and D.  The ACCI member’s handicap will determine the team’s classification.

Tee-off will be a shotgun start at 6:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. for the morning and afternoon groups respectively.

DECLARATION OF WINNERS

 The team with the highest number of points after 36 holes shall be declared the Overall Team Champion and will have their names engraved on the permanent Mango Tee Invitational Tournament trophy.

In case of a tie: If the tying teams have the same total Stableford score for the second day, last nine holes, last six holes, last three holes and finally the 36th hole.

Each class shall have Team Champions and Runners-up, with individual trophies. Trophies will be given to members of the team with the highest gross points for the Overall Team Gross Champion.

Trophies shall also be given to members of the team with the highest gross points for the Overall Team Gross Champions.

RAFFLE / NIGHTLY COCKTAIL

A nightly raffle will be held from Monday, January 30 until Friday, February 3. All playing participants are entitled to join the nightly raffle on their official playing days. Physical presence is required to be eligible to win any of the raffle items.

Nightly cocktails will be held at the Main Ballroom for the day’s playing participants starting at 6:00 PM.

All Taxes on taxable raffle and hole-in-one prizes shall be for the account of winners.

Minor prizes have been pre-drawn and may be collected as players register during the Awards Night. These may also be collected after the Awarding .

SNACKS & LUNCH

Complimentary lunch will be served to the day’s playing participants at the Golfers’ Veranda from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Please present your Lunch Stub.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

CONDITIONS OF PLAY:

Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A Rules Ltd., the USGA and the Local Rules of the Club printed on the Scorecard & Notice Board.

FORMAT OF PLAY:

  • For players with WHS, One 18-hole round with handicap. Scores will be converted to STABLEFORD POINTS as follows:

Players will use their March 16, 2023 WHS Handicap on the course and tee box played. Maximum handicap is 36.

CLASSIFICATION:

All Players, men and ladies, with WHS handicap will be classified accordingly to their handicaps and will use a Stableford format.

All players, men and ladies, without a WHS handicap will all be classified under Open Division using System 36 format.

15th Mercedes Trophy

Eligibility

The tournament is exclusive to Mercedes-Benz owners, invited guests and tournament sponsors. The MercedesTrophy event is an all-amateur tournament. Professionals are not eligible to participate.

Tournament Date and Venue

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club, Talisay Batangas. Registration, Breakfast, Photo Op, Tournament giveaways distribution & sponsor side events will start at 7:00 AM.

Tee-Off

The MercedesTrophy will have a “SHOTGUN START”. All players will play on the rotation of 1 to 18 (Class A, B, and C). Sponsors and guests will play on the second and third nine (9 to 18, and at the lucky nine). There will be no flight changes during the tournament proper. Ceremonial tee-off will be at 8:30 AM. Shotgun Start will be at exactly 9:00 AM. All players shall report to their designated holes at least 10 minutes before starting time. Complimentary Golf Carts are provided.

Format

The tournament will be an 18-Hole Stroke Play Handicap competition. All pairings after the registration are final. Changes or alterations on flight compositions after the registration will not be allowed.

Scoring System

The scoring system to be applied for the tournament will be the Stableford System. This system of scoring is done by taking the course handicap of a player and distributing strokes to specific holes based on their difficulty. The following Stableford points are to be allowed based on the player’s net score on each hole:

The points are all added up to get the total Stableford score of the player.

Handicaps

Mercedes-Benz owners’ allowable maximum club certified handicap is 24. Players are required to submit their current certified handicap index from the WHS (World Handicap System) from their member golf club effective February 1, 2023. In case an MB player has no certified WHS handicap they will be given a “0” handicap.

Ties

In case of ties, the player with the lower handicap prevails. If a tie still exists, the player with more holes-in-one, double eagles, eagles, birdies, then pars will prevail. If a tie still should exist, a draw of lots will be used to determine the winner.

No Gimmies

Gimmie putts are not allowed. ALL players MUST HOLE OUT. To help speed up play, pick-up on net-double bogey and mark an “X” on the scorecard.

Handicap Certification will not be required in these divisions.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

ELIGIBILITY:

Amateur golfers with established WHS or GHIN are eligible to participate.

MANNER OF PLAY:

36-hole, two-day, four-player-three-to-count team competition.

TEAM COMPOSITION:

A 4-player combination of member-guest, all guests, or all members

HANDICAPPING:

  1. WHS or GHIN handicap index as of February 16, 2023 will be used. The maximum handicap will be 28 index.
  2. All other handicap indexes, except for November – December 2022, are subject to a minimum deduction of four (4) off the handicap.
  3. All handicap indexes are subject to review by the Tournament Committee. The tournament committee is authorized to lower a player’s handicap as they see fit. The Committee will assign Zero handicaps to players who do not have a verifiable handicap index. If the Player has multiple club memberships, the lowest handicap index would be used.

TEAM CLASSIFICATION:

  1. The team index will be based on the average of the lowest two (2) team members’ WHS indices.
  2. There will be four (4) divisions based on the team index as follows:

SLOW PLAY: Any act of slow play shall result in the following: first warning – no stroke penalty, second warning – with one stroke penalty to the Player, third warning – with a two-stroke penalty to the Player, and fourth warning –disqualification of the Player for the day. Only the Tournament Committee may impose such penalties.

MANDATORY PICK-UP: Mandatory double bogey pick-up to speed up the pace of play. Players who refuse to pick up after a double bogey result in an automatic two-point deduction for the team.

HOLE ASSIGNMENT: The assigned holes will be given per team. Each team should appoint a captain to choose the hole assignment to his members. Flight schedules are final.

LATE TO TEE: Any player will get zero points on every missed hole. A player already missed the hole once any flight mate has made the second shot.

TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE

Please follow these specific instructions for the tournament proper:

  1. Drop your bag at the bag drop area and state your full name to the attendant.
  2. You will receive a bag tag and proceed to the front desk to get a passport.
  3. Register to confirm tee time at the front desk at least 30 minutes before shotgun starts and confirm with any golf operation staff for hole assignment.
  4. Proceed to the assigned hole before the shotgun start.
  5. Players are responsible for their actions and the actions of their caddies.
  6. Players are responsible for the accuracy and submission of their scorecards. Once submitted to the Committee, players may not make any alterations. You may submit the scorecards at the starter house.
  7. Players are responsible for their clubs. Please count your clubs before the game (only a maximum of fourteen clubs are allowed) and when claiming golf bag.
  8. Non-conforming drivers are not allowed, and their use is subject to R&A / USGA.
  9. The Rules of Golf of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and the local rules of the club will govern
    players. Questions shall be settled by the Tournament Committee, whose decision shall be final. The
    competition shall be deemed closed when the trophy has been presented.

LOCAL RULES

  1. If a ball is lost, lies, or touches any part of the landscape area, a player may drop the ball at the nearest point of relief with one stroke penalty.
  2. Bahia grass is considered through the green.
  3. Hole number 5 from the tee if the Player’s ball failed to cross the water hazard margin. The Player will hit again at the tee box ( option to re-teed the ball ) with ( 1 ) one-stroke penalty.
  4. All GUR and cut trees shall only be marked with blue stakes and blue paint. Otherwise, play your ball as it lies.
  5. Bridges are considered part of the water hazard.
  6. Hole numbers 5, 16, 17, and 18. Out-of-bounds lines drawn from the cart path replace out-of-bounds stakes. Please note that the line itself is out of bounds. A ball is out of bounds when all of it lies out of bounds. In addition, a player can stand out of bounds when playing ball in bounds.
  7. French drains located along riverbanks, landscaped areas, and cascading canals define boundaries for all hazards.
  8. If a player’s ball rests on the greenside collar, the Player may place his ball to the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole. The Player may place his ball outside the green.
  9. Hole no. 17 from the tee, If the Player’s ball goes directly into the hazard and cannot be played, the Player must drop the ball at the designated drop zone with (1) one stroke penalty.
  10. Hole no. 8 from the tee. If the Player’s ball sliced and crossed the hazard margin went to hole no. 2. it will be considered as the wrong fairway. The Player must drop the ball at the designated drop zone with (1) one stroke penalty.
  11. When in doubt concerning any rules decisions, play the two-ball option for stroke play and request a ruling from any golf operation staff.

MEN'S REGULAR DIVISION

TERMS OF COMPETITION

1. RULES OF GOLF

The 74th PAL Men’s Regular Interclub Golf Tournament shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the R&A Rules Limited and any Local Rules as approved by the Tournament Committee.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

2.1. TEAM REQUIREMENTS – A team must fulfil the following requirements to be able to join the PAL Seniors Interclub:

  1. Local Teams must represent a golf club that has its own 18-hole golf course. A team that no longer has a golf course continues to be eligible provided it has not been disqualified and it continues to meet other eligibility requirements.
  2. International teams must meet entry requirements set by the Tournament Committee. Their team names must indicate a golf course or geographic location.

2.2. TEAM ELIGIBILITY – Participation in the tournament shall be limited to:

  1. Teams that have completed play and have not been disqualified in the last PAL Seniors Interclub.
  2. Teams that have been reinstated and new teams accepted by the Tournament Committee.

2.3. INDIVIDUAL PLAYER’S ELIGIBILITY – To be eligible to play in the PAL Seniors Interclub, a player must fulfil the following requirements:

  1. Be included in the Roster of Members of his Club/Team which is submitted via email to the Tournament Secretariat on or before January 31, 2023.
  2. Fulfil the Travel Requirements of Philippine Airlines (see Appendix II).
  3. There is no minimum or maximum age requirement for eligibility.

2.4. REJECTION OF ENTRIES – The Tournament Committee reserves the right to reject the application of any team or any member of a team seeking entry into the Seniors Interclub.

2.5. DISQUALIFICATION/SUSPENSION FROM THE INTERCLUB – At any time, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify and/or suspend any team or individual from their participation in the Interclub. Reasons for dismissal/suspension may include gross disrespect to the sponsors and tournament officials and staff, unbecoming conduct and gross violations of the Rules of Golf and golf etiquette by team member/s during the current or past Interclubs.

3.1. DESIGNATION – Each team must have a designated Team Captain who will represent his team in meetings, press conferences and all dealings with the Tournament Committee.

3. TEAM CAPTAIN

3.1. DESIGNATION – Each team must have a designated Team Captain who will represent his team in meetings, press conferences and all dealings with the Tournament Committee.

3.2. RESPONSIBILITIES – The Team Captain shall be responsible for the following:

  1. Attend the Team Captains Meeting or, if he cannot attend, make sure his team is represented. Penalty for failure to attend: Team Disqualification.
  2. Submit the Roster of Members of his Club on or before January 31, 2023. Roster should be directly sent to the email of the Tournament Secretariat. Penalty for failure to submit: Team Disqualification.
  3. Coordinate with his local Philippine Airlines Branch/District Office and ensure that all team members have adhered to the travel policies set forth by the Tournament Committee. Penalty for failure to follow Travel Policies: Team Disqualification and Banned from joining future Interclubs.
  4. Submit the final Team Line-Up with the Full Names including Nicknames/ Aliases by January 1, 2023. The Handicap Index of the members of the team shall be properly indicated in the line-up on or before February 17, 2023. Note: The team will automatically be classified in the Championship Division if the Team Line-Up is submitted after the set deadline.
  5. Pay the required team entry fee on or before January 1, 2023. Penalty for failure to pay: Team Disqualification
  6. Check the Roster of Members that was submitted by his club to the Tournament Secretariat on or before January 31, 2023 and verify that all the players listed in the Team Line-Up are included in the Roster. Penalty for fielding Ineligible Player: Team Disqualification.
  7. Inform all of his team members about the Local Rules of the Tournament, Terms of Competition and any changes/additions that have been made.
  8. Ensure that all of his players have signed the Medical Waiver and submit to the Tournament Secretariat before the start of the tournament.
  9. Daily submit his list of players to the starters within 30 minutes before the scheduled tee time of his teams’ first player to tee-off.

3.3. ADVICE – The Team Captain is not allowed to give advice to any member of his team while they are playing their stipulated rounds. Penalty for each breach: Two (2) points deduction from the team score for the day.

3.4. A Team Captain is not allowed to act as team captain for one team then play for another. Penalty for breach: Disqualification of player

4. TOURNAMENT FORMAT

4.1. FORMAT – The PAL Men’s Regular Interclub is a 36-hole Stroke Play, Stableford, Team Competition played over four (4) consecutive days among teams representing golf clubs/teams. Individual awards will also be given.

4.2. POINT SYSTEM – The player’s gross scores shall be converted to the following corresponding Points:

4.3. TEAM COMPETITION

  1. VENUES - The tournament shall be played simultaneously on two (2) golf courses namely Cebu Country Club and Club Filipino de Cebu. A club/team must play two (2) rounds on each golf course.
  2. CLASSIFICATION – Teams shall be classified into five (5) divisions according to Team Handicap Index Average that are based on the individual January 1, 2023 Handicap Index of the members of the team. The Team Handicap Index Average will be based on the lowest eight (8) handicap index of each team. The team divisions are:

                      • Championship Division
                      • Founders Division
                      • Aviator Division
                      • Sportswriters Division
                      • Friendship Division

    The Rules on Classification of Teams are further defined in Appendix I.

  3. TEAM SCORE
    1. A team is given five (5) playing slots in each playing day and the best four (4) scores will count as the team score for the day.
    2. The club/team scoring the highest number of points in their division after four (4) days of play shall be declared champion of their division.
    3. The Championship Division may be won by any of the competing clubs/ teams. A club/team in a lower division that scores a higher number of points than the clubs/teams in the Championship Division shall be declared the overall champion.
  4. 36-HOLE MAXIMUM - A player can only play a maximum of 36 holes.

4.4. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

  1. Players shall be divided into the following divisions based on their January 1, 2023 Handicap Index. They will compete in these flights regardless of what division their team plays in:

                       Flight A                       lower than 8.0 + those without Handicap Index
                       Flight B                       8.1 – 16.0 Handicap Index
                       Flight C                       16.1 – 24.0 Handicap Index
                       Flight D                       24.1 and above Handicap Index

  2. The players who score the highest points after all participants have completed 36-holes of play shall be declared champions of their Flight.
  3. To win any of the Individual Awards a player must play both courses. Players who play both their rounds on the same golf course will only compete for the Best 18-hole Score on that course.

5. TEAM COMPOSITION

5.1. The PAL Men’s Regular Interclub is a golf competition for Amateur Male golfers.

5.2. Professional golfers whether Touring or Teaching Professionals are not allowed to play in the tournament.

5.3. A team may consist of 8, 9 or 10 players.

5.4. ROSTER OF MEMBERS – All participating clubs will be required to submit their Roster of Members on or before January 31, 2023.

  1. A team will be disqualified if it fails to submit its Clubs’ Roster of Members on or before the designated date.
  2. No changes or additions will be allowed once the Roster has been submitted except in case of Rule 5.4c below.
  3. Teams that need to add names to their submitted Roster after January 31, 2023 may do so by writing a letter to the Tournament Committee before the 24th of February 2023. No changes will be allowed after the 24th of February 2023.
  4. The team captain will be notified immediately by the Tournament Secretariat if the Tournament Committee has approved or not the request for adding a player to the team roster submitted after the deadline set.

5.5. At the discretion of the Tournament Executive Committee, a club may field more than one team following the restrictions:

  1. No player in Team B (2nd team) must have a lower handicap index than any player in Team A (1st team).*
  2. Both teams cannot play in the same division.
  3. A player can play for only one (1) team.**

    Penalty:
    *   Disqualification of both teams
    ** Disqualification of the succeeding team/s the player has played for.

5.6. REPLACEMENT OF PLAYERS – Members of the team who have already played a round CANNOT BE REPLACED. The team may be disqualified for fielding more than 10 players if it replaces a player who has already played a round.

6. DISQUALIFICATION / SUSPENSION

6.1. TEAM DISQUALIFICATION – – Disqualification of a team shall mean the disqualification of all its members and their scores will no longer be counted in the determination of team and individual standings. Grounds for disqualification of a team shall be the following:

  1. Non-attendance of a Team Captain or his representative during the Team Captains Meeting.
  2. Failure to submit the Clubs’ Roster of Members on or before January 31, 2023.
  3. Fielding an ineligible player. An ineligible player shall be defined as:

    1. A player whose name does not appear in the Roster of Members that the club/team had submitted on or before January 31, 2023.
    2. A player whose addition to the Roster has not been approved by the Tournament Committee.
    3. A player who has already played more than 36-holes/2 rounds.
    4. A player who has played for another team in an earlier round.
    5. A player who has assumed another person’s identity.
    6. A player who has not fulfilled the travel requirements of Philippine Airlines.

  4. Fielding more than ten (10) players.
  5. Fielding less than four (4) players on any day of the competition.
  6. Non-payment of the team entry fee on or before January 1, 2023.
  7. Commission of gross violations of the Rules and/or Etiquette that the Tournament Committee feels warrant a penalty of Disqualification.

6.2. INDIVIDUAL DISQUALIFICATION – Disqualification of any player under the Rules of Golf in the first round he has played shall not be effective for the second round unless the Tournament Committee determines otherwise.

6.3. SUSPENSION OF DISQUALIFIED TEAMS – A team that has been disqualified for violation of Interclub Rules shall be suspended from participation in the next PAL Interclub and must reapply to be accepted to join succeeding Interclubs. However, the Tournament Committee may waive the suspension for reasons it may deem proper.

7. PAIRINGS AND TEE-TIMES

7.1. Pairings and Starting times for the first two days of play shall be based on team’s average handicap index. Pairings and Starting times for the third and final days of play shall be based on scores which will reflect team standings.

7.2. Pairings shall indicate team names only. Team Captains should provide the starters with the names of their players within 30 minutes before the scheduled tee time of his first player to tee-off. Changes may still be made before the player’s tee-off except when Rule 1.3 below is being implemented.

7.3. At the option of the Committee, it may require team captains to submit their tee-time assignments in sealed envelopes. Tee-time assignments will be deemed final once these sealed envelopes have been submitted to the starters.

7.4. The Committee reserves the right to alter the pairings and tee-times if it feels that such actions are for the best interest of the tournament. Teams and their respective who refuse to follow such changes will be disqualified for the tournament.

8. REQUESTS FOR TEE TIMES/PLAYING DATES

The Tournament Committee will not entertain any requests for tee times or playing dates. Players who join the tournament should be ready to play on any of the dates and tee-times assigned to them by the Committee.

9. LATE TO TEE

A player is late to tee if he is not on the tee, ready to play, when the starter calls the first player in his flight to the tee. The late player is not disqualified. He will score zero (0) points on the hole/s that he failed to play and he will be allowed to join his assigned group on the tee of the next hole to be played.

10. PACE OF PLAY

10.1. All players must maintain the proper Pace of Play at all times. If a group falls behind by having an open hole in front of them, they will be warned by a rules official and asked to speed up play and keep pace with the group ahead.

10.2. If they do not, in the opinion of the official, make a conscious effort to speed up play in the next few holes, the rules official will time all members of the group.

10.3. The rules official doing the timing shall be the sole judge of when it is the players turn to play and he is able to play without interference or distraction. Any player who takes more than forty (40) seconds to play his shot from the time it is his turn to play shall incur a BAD TIME and be subject to the following penalties:

             First BAD TIME               Warning
             Second BAD TIME         One-Stroke Penalty
             Third BAD TIME              Two-Strokes Penalty
             Fourth BAD TIME           Disqualification

10.4. The group will be timed until they have regained their proper position on the course.

10.5. A player will carry his bad time for the rest of the round in case their flight falls out of position again.

11. STOPPING AT THE CLUBHOUSE / TEE HOUSES

Players are not allowed to unduly delay play by stopping at the clubhouse/tee houses to sit down, order food and have refreshments. Penalty for Breach: 2 points deduction from the team score for the day for each infraction.

12. CELLULAR PHONES

Cellular phones should be placed on silent mode and should not be used during play of a hole. Penalty for Breach: Two strokes penalty per Breach (Maximum of Four strokes per round).

13. CADDIES, UMBRELLA BOYS / GIRLS

13.1. Only caddies and umbrella boys/girls accredited by the host clubs may be employed.

13.2. Players are not allowed to caddy for other players. Penalty for breach of 13.1 & Disqualification of player.

14. GOLF BALLS/GOLF CLUBS

Only golf balls and golf clubs which conform to the Rules of Golf shall be used during the tournament. Penalty for breach: Disqualification of player.

15. PICK-UP

To promote faster play, a player who no longer has any chance to score a point on a hole MUST pick-up his ball and discontinue play of the hole. He shall score zero (0) points for the hole and MUST mark his score on that hole with an “X” to indicate a pick-up.

Note:

  1. Signing for a score higher than a Bogey shall mean that the player has made such a score and his team will be subject to the penalty clause of this rule.
  2. The breach of the condition by the player does not free the team from the penalties of this rule.

Penalty for Breach: 2 points deduction from the team score for the day for each infraction.

However, the team penalty will not apply if:

  1. The Committee determines after the game that the player had incurred a penalty stroke and the player was not aware of the penalty when he holed out on the hole in question;
  2. The player is in doubt as to procedure and/or penalty strokes and the matter has to be referred to the Committee after the game.

16. SCORECARDS / MARKERS

16.1. MARKER – Each player shall be assigned by the Committee as a marker to record the scores of another player in the same flight. It is highly recommended that before they start play of the next hole, the MARKER verifies with the player he is scoring on how many strokes he had played from the previously played hole.

16.2. SCORING – The marker shall record the GROSS SCORE of the player and mark pick-ups with an “X”

16.3. MARKERS DISQUALIFICATION – The Committee may disqualify the marker if it is shown that he has deliberately violated Rule 16-1.2 above and/or deliberately performed actions so another player may be disqualified.

16.4. SUBMISSION –The scorecard is deemed to have been submitted when the player leaves the scoring recording area with both feet.

16.5. TO AVOID PENALTIES, PLAYERS ARE REMINDED TO:

17. TEAM AWARDS

17.1. The Champion Team shall take possession of the permanent PAL Trophy for one year while the members of the team shall receive medals. A team that wins the permanent trophy for three (3) consecutive years shall be allowed to keep the championship trophy.

17.2. The Champions of the Championship, Founders Aviator, Sportswriters and Friendship Divisions as well as the First and Second Runners-up shall be awarded trophies while the members of the teams shall receive medals.

17.3. INTERNATIONAL TROPHY – The International trophy shall be given to the international team that scores the highest points among the overseas teams entered in the tournament regardless of what division they are playing in.

18. INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

18.1. Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, First Runner-Up and Second Runner-up of each of the Flights.

18.2. SPECIAL AWARDS – The following Special Awards will be given:

• Hole-in-One
• Highest 18-hole Points Scored on each course

19. TIES

19.1. TEAM COMPETITION – Ties in the team competition shall be settled by comparing scores and determining the winner on the basis of:

  1. The final day total points of the fourth player (score that did not count), then by
  2. The total team points of the last 54-holes, then by
  3. The total team points over the last 36-holes, then by
  4. The total team points over the last 18-holes, then by
  5. Drawing of lots

19.2. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION – Ties in the individual competition shall be settled by com-paring scores and determining the winner on the basis of:

  1. The best 18-hole points of the players, then by
  2. The second round points by the players, then by
  3. Lower Handicap Index

19.3. SPECIAL AWARDS – Ties in the Special Awards shall be settled by the USGA Tiebreak System.

20. CLOSE OF COMPETITION

The competition shall be deemed closed when the Championship Trophy of the division concerned has been awarded to the winner.

21. TOURNAMENT LOCAL RULES

These Tournament Local Rules shall be in effect for all venues of the PAL Seniors Interclub:

21.1. GOLF CARTS – Mandatory use of golf carts on cart sharing for both courses.

21.2. TIME OF STARTING – The five (5) minute allowance for late to tee is NOT IN EFFECT. The player gets zero (0) points for the holes he missed and may join his assigned group on the tee of the next hole to be played.

21.3. PRACTICE ON COURSE NOT PLAYED – Once the first round of the tournament has started, players may not practice on any course.

21.4. RULES ISSUES IN STROKE PLAY – A player who is uncertain about the right procedure while playing a hole may complete the hole with two balls without penalty.

  1.  The player must decide to play two balls after the uncertain situation arises and before making a stroke.
  2. The player should choose which ball will count if the Rules allow the procedure used for that ball, by announcing that choice to his marker or another player before making a stroke.
  3. If the player does not choose in time, the ball played first is treated as the ball chosen by default.
  4. The player must report the facts of the situation to the Committee before returning the scorecard, even if the player scores the same with both balls. The player is disqualified if he fails to do so.

21.5. PREFERRED LIES – In the event that the tournament is to be played under preferred lies, the following rule shall be in effect:

When any part of a player’s ball touches part of the general area cut to fairway height or less, the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball within one scorecard length from the reference point (spot of the original ball) and playing it from this relief area:

• Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point, and
• Must be in the general area.

22. DEFINITION OF TERMS

22.1. ROSTER OF MEMBERS – The Roster of Members is a list of all the members of the Club.

22.2. TEAM LINE-UP – The Team Line-up is the final list of 8, 9 or 10 members of the Club who will play in the tournament. The Team Line-up MUST be derived from the Roster of Members of the Club.

22.3. HANDICAP INDEX – a player’s January 1, 2023 handicap index (WHS, GHIN, Club Certified Handicap Index).

22.4. TEAM HANDICAP INDEX – The team’s lowest eight (8) handicap index average. It is used for classification purposes.

23. ADVISORY ON THE RULES

Rule 10.3b What a Caddie May Do

These are examples of what caddie is allowed and not allowed to do:

(1) Actions always allowed. A caddie may always take these actions when allowed under the Rules:

• Carry, transport and handle the player’s clubs and other equipment (including driving a cart of pulling a trolley).

• Search for the player’s ball (Rule 7.1).

• Give information, advice and other help before the stroke is made (Rules 10.2a and 10.2b).

• Smooth bunkers or take other actions to care for the course (Rules 8.2 Exception, 8.3 Exception and 12.2b (2) and (3).

• Remove sand and loose soil and repair damage on the putting green (Rule 13.1c).

• Remove or attend the flagstick (rule 13.2b).

• Mark the spot of the player’s ball and lift and replace the ball on the putting green (rules 14.1b Exception and 14.2b).

• Clean the player’s ball (Rule 14.1c).

• Remove loose impediments and movable obstructions (Rules 15.1 and 15.2).

(2) Actions Allowed Only With Player’s Authorization. A caddie may take these actions only when the Rules allow the player to take them and only with the player’s authorization (which must be given specially each time rather than given generally for a round).

• Restore conditions that were worsened after the player’s ball came to rest (Rule 8.1d).

• When the player’s ball is anywhere except on the putting green, lift the player’s ball under a Rule requiring it to be replaced or after the player has decided to take relief under a Rule (Rule 14.1b).

(3) Actions Not Allowed. A caddie is not allowed to take these actions for the player:

• Deliberately stand on or close to an extension of the line of play behind the player’s ball when the player begins taking a stance for the stroke and until the stroke is made (Rule 10.2b (4)) or take other action prohibited by Rule 10.2b.

• Replace a ball, unless the caddie had lifted or moved the ball (Rule 14.2b).

• Drop or place a ball in a relief area (Rule 14.3).

• Decide to take a relief under a Rule, the caddie may advise the player to do so but the player must decide.

EFFECTIVITY

These Rules shall be effective on the 74th PAL Seniors Interclub in Cebu.

APPENDIX I

CLASSIFICATION OF TEAMS

Classification of club/teams in the PAL Seniors Interclub shall be based on the lowest six (6) handicap index of the team members. The classification shall be done in the following manner:

1.

ONLINE REGISTRATION – On or before February 24, 2023, all team captains are required to register online their final team line-up listing the names of the players who will compose their team as well as the January 1, 2023 handicap index of the players in his team. Teams failing to register after the set deadline will be automatically assigned to the Championship Division.

2.

The Committee computes the team average by taking into consideration the lowest eight (8) handicap indexes of the members of the team.

3.

Teams will be ranked according to their team’s handicap average and grouped according to the following distribution:

Championship Division

Top 4 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 4th ranked Team.

Founders Division

Next 12 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 16th ranked Team.

Aviator Division

Next 20 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28th ranked Team.

Sportswriter Division

Next 20 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28th ranked team.

Friendship Division

Rest of the teams

The Tournament Committee has the discretion to change the format of team distribution in the best interest of the Tournament.

4.

PLAYERS WITHOUT HANDICAP INDEX – If a player has no January 1, 2023 Handicap Index, he will be assigned a zero (0) handicap index.

5.

SUBMITTING WRONG HANDICAPS – A Team that submits incorrect or falsified handicaps of their players shall be disqualified from the tournament.

6.

HANDICAP INDEXES DO NOT MATCH ABILITIES – At any time during the competition, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to reclassify the division of a team if the submitted handicap index of any team member does not match the abilities they have shown on the course.

7.

CHANGES IN LINE-UP – Team classification may change whenever a team makes any changes in its line-up and the Tournament Committee has evaluated such changes. However, no team shall be reclassified to a lower division as a result of changes in the line-up of a team.

8.

COMMITTEE PREROGATIVE – The Tournament Committee reserves the right to classify or reclassify any team/s at any time or in any manner it deems fit if it thinks that such actions are for the good of the tournament.

APPENDIX II

TRAVEL GUIDELINES AND POLICIES

1.

Next 28 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28 th ranked Team.

Travel Requirements / Privileges

  1. To be eligible, all Interclub players must be holding a PAL revenue ticket.
  2. To be eligible, all team members of International Teams must embark/ disembark from their state or country of foreign origin. (U.S. teams from the U.S., Australian Teams from Australia, etc.)
  3. Travel to and from the venue of the PAL Interclub Golf Tournament MUST be made on Philippine Airlines.
  4. Philippine Airlines will issue Team Captain’s complimentary airline tickets for their attendance in the Team Captain’s Meeting and the tournament proper. The issuance of these complimentary tickets will be subject to the provision (3) hereunder.
  5. Team members are provided special discounted fares on Philippine Airlines from their point of origin to the venue of the tournament.
  6. A Player may avail of any PAL promo fare available in the market/travel agent and may likewise be counted in the number of tickets required to be purchased prior to issuance of team captain’s ticket.
  7. A Player may bring along one (1) traveling companion whose travel fares shall be at the same discounted rate as the player. The ticket of the player and his companion must have the same routing and must be purchased from the same PAL Ticket Office but not necessarily at the same time. Companion may only avail of the special fare after purchase of the player/participant’s ticket.
  8. Player traveling on non-revenue PAL tickets (ID00/ID75/AD75 or Award Tickets) may play in the tournament, but their scores will not be counted and will not be eligible for any individual awards.
  9. Players traveling to the tournament venue using other airline tickets are deemed ineligible and are disqualified from participating in the tournament.

2.

Travel Period

  1. Discounted tickets will be available for purchase one (1) month before the start of the tournament and will be valid for use within the travel period defined by Philippine Airlines.
  2. A member of a team arriving in the Philippines within six (6) months prior to the tournament shall be deemed to be qualified provided that he is listed in the Team’s Roster of Members, and provided that the Tournament Committee is given evidence that his travel to and from his home team’s state or country of origin has been made on Philippine Airlines. Such evidence shall be the actual unused portion of his return PAL air ticket as well as the proof of arrival based on the passport arrival stamp of the player. Failure to provide such evidence shall be declined issuance of the domestic Interclub ticket and will likewise be considered an ineligible player.

3.

Rules on Complimentary Ticket Privilege for Team Captains

  1. The Team Captain’s complimentary ticket to the 1 st Team Captain’s Meeting shall be issued only upon Secretariat’s receipt of the team’s completed M1 Form on a given deadline. Failure to submit M1 Form on the specified date will result to the non-issuance of complimentary team captain’s ticket and will forfeit team’s participation to the upcoming Interclub tournament.
  2. The Team Captain’s complimentary ticket to the tournament proper is to be issued only when the required number of tickets for each team is confirmed to have been purchased.

    1. The Senior Division Team Captain’s complimentary tickets can only be issued when the purchase of a minimum of six (6) tickets for the team has been confirmed.
    2. Complimentary ticket for the Men’s Regular Division Team Captain can only be issued when the purchase of a minimum of eight (8) tickets has been confirmed for the team.
    3. If a player is competing in both divisions, his ticket will only be counted as a purchased ticket in the Senior Division.

  3. The complimentary tickets may be assigned to another member or representative of the team provided he will:

    1. Be formally endorsed by an email letter by the official team captain.
    2. Register during the 1st Team Captains Meeting.
    3. Fill-up and submit all required Interclub forms with correct/updated club/team information.
    4. Relay to the team captain, all issues discussed during the 1st Team Captain’s meeting.

4.

Special Excess Baggage Charge / Allowance for Golfing Equipment of Registered Players

PAL Interclub Guidelines allows provision for Special Excess Baggage Charge/Allowance for golfing equipment of the registered players on top of the normal baggage allowance on PAL and PAL Express

  1. WEIGHT SYSTEM
    • 25kg free baggage allowance for the golf equipment of a registered player traveling each way from point of origin to the tournament venue and vice versa. Any weight in excess of the 25kg allowance for golf equipment shall be assessed with the normal charges.
  2. PIECE SYSTEM
    • special charge of USD50.00 per way on the extra baggage allowance for the golf equipment not exceeding 25kg of a registered player traveling from point of origin to the tournament venue and vice-versa.

Special baggage allowance shall be applied at PAL Check-in counter.

5.

Rule on Surface Travel

Local Teams who are based close to the venue of the tournament are allowed to travel by land or sea ferry. However, team members are required to purchase round-trip discounted tickets on PAL to any one local destination during the tournament period. These tickets will be valid for travel within the travel period defined by PAL with block-out periods.

6.

Travel Privileges of the Host Club Teams

The registered members of the teams of the host clubs may avail of special discounted fares on Philippine Airlines from their point of origin to Manila or vice versa. The discounted ticket should be purchased during the tournament period and the tickets will be valid for travel within the travel period defined by PAL with block-out periods, if applicable.

7.

Rebooking Fees

The first rebooking fee of Interclub ticket is waived. Subsequent changes will be charged the normal rebooking fees. Passengers will be asked to pay for the FARE DIFFERENCE if the original fare of the purchased ticket is no longer available.

SENIORS DIVISION

TERMS OF COMPETITION

1. RULES OF GOLF

The 74th PAL Seniors Interclub Golf Tournament shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the R&A Rules Limited and any Local Rules as approved by the Tournament Committee.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS

2.1. TEAM REQUIREMENTS – A team must fulfil the following requirements to be able to join the PAL Seniors Interclub:

  1. Local Teams must represent a golf club that has its own 18-hole golf course. A team that no longer has a golf course continues to be eligible provided it has not been disqualified and it continues to meet other eligibility requirements.
  2. International teams must meet entry requirements set by the Tournament Committee. Their team names must indicate a golf course or geographic location.

2.2. TEAM ELIGIBILITY – Participation in the tournament shall be limited to:

  1. Teams that have completed play and have not been disqualified in the last PAL Seniors Interclub.
  2. Teams that have been reinstated and new teams accepted by the Tournament Committee.

2.3. INDIVIDUAL PLAYER’S ELIGIBILITY – To be eligible to play in the PAL Seniors Interclub, a player must fulfil the following requirements:

  1. Be included in the Roster of Members of his Club/Team which is submitted via email to the Tournament Secretariat on or before January 31, 2023.
  2. Be at least 55 years old. Players turning 55 years old in the calendar year of the tournament are eligible to join.
  3. Fulfil the Travel Requirements of Philippine Airlines (see appendix II).

2.4. REJECTION OF ENTRIES – The Tournament Committee reserves the right to reject the application of any team or any member of a team seeking entry into the Seniors Interclub.

2.5. DISQUALIFICATION/SUSPENSION FROM THE INTERCLUB – At any time, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify and/or suspend any team or individual from their participation in the Interclub. Reasons for dismissal/suspension may include gross disrespect to the sponsors and tournament officials and staff, unbecoming conduct and gross violations of the Rules of Golf and golf etiquette by team member/s during the current or past Interclub.

3.1. DESIGNATION – Each team must have a designated Team Captain who will represent his team in meetings, press conferences and all dealings with the Tournament Committee.

3. TEAM CAPTAIN

3.1. DESIGNATION – Each team must have a designated Team Captain who will represent his team in meetings, press conferences and all dealings with the Tournament Committee.

3.2. RESPONSIBILITIES – The Team Captain shall be responsible for the following:

  1. Attend the Team Captains Meeting or, if he cannot attend, make sure his team is represented. Penalty for failure to attend: Team Disqualification.
  2. Submit the Roster of Members of his Club on or before January 31, 2023. Roster should be directly sent to the email of the Tournament Secretariat. Penalty for failure to submit: Team Disqualification.
  3. Coordinate with his local Philippine Airlines Branch/District Office and ensure that all team members have adhered to the travel policies set forth by the Tournament Committee. Penalty for failure to follow Travel Policies: Team Disqualification and Banned from joining future Interclubs.
  4. Submit the final Team Line-Up with the Full Names including Nicknames/ Aliases by January 1, 2023. The Handicap Index of the members of the team shall be properly indicated in the line-up on or before February 17, 2023. Note: The team will automatically be classified in the Championship Division if the Team Line-Up is submitted after the set deadline.
  5. Pay the required team entry fee on or before January 1, 2023. Penalty for failure to pay: Team Disqualification
  6. Check the Roster of Members that was submitted by his club to the Tournament Secretariat on or before January 31, 2023 and verify that all the players listed in the Team Line-Up are included in the Roster. Penalty for fielding Ineligible Player: Team Disqualification.
  7. Inform all of his team members about the Local Rules of the Tournament, Terms of Competition and any changes/additions that have been made.
  8. Ensure that all of his players have signed the Medical Waiver and submit to the Tournament Secretariat before the start of the tournament.
  9. Daily submit his list of players to the starters within 30 minutes before the scheduled tee time of his teams’ first player to tee-off.

3.3. ADVICE – The Team Captain is not allowed to give advice to any member of his team while they are playing their stipulated rounds. Penalty for each breach: Two (2) points deduction from the team score for the day.

3.4. A Team Captain is not allowed to act as team captain for one team then play for another. Penalty for breach: Disqualification of player

4. TOURNAMENT FORMAT

4.1. FORMAT – The PAL Seniors’ Interclub is a 36-hole Stroke Play, Modified Stableford (Molave), Team Competition played over four (4) consecutive days among teams representing golf clubs/teams. Individual awards will also be given.

4.2. POINT SYSTEM – The player’s gross scores shall be converted to the following corresponding Points:

4.3. TEAM COMPETITION

  1. VENUES - The tournament shall be played simultaneously on two (2) golf courses namely Alta Vista Golf & Country Club and Club Filipino de Cebu. A club/ team must play two (2) rounds on each golf course.
  2. CLASSIFICATION – Teams shall be classified into five (5) divisions according to Team Handicap Index Average that are based on the individual January 1, 2023 Handicap Index of the members of the team. The Team Handicap Index Average will be based on the lowest six (6) handicap index of each team. The team divisions are:

                      • Championship Division
                      • Founders Division
                      • Aviator Division
                      • Sportswriters Division
                      • Friendship Division

    The Rules on Classification of Teams are further defined in Appendix I.

  3. TEAM SCORE

    i.   A team is given four (4) playing slots in each playing day and the best three (3) scores will count as the team score for the day.

    ii.  The club/team scoring the highest number of points in their division after four (4) days of play shall be declared champion of their division.

    iii. The Championship Division may be won by any of the competing clubs/ teams. A club/team in a lower division that scores a higher number of points than the clubs/teams in the Championship Division shall be declared the overall champion.

  4. 36-HOLE MAXIMUM - A player can only play a maximum of 36 holes.

4.4. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

  1. Players shall be divided into the following divisions based on their January 1, 2023 Handicap Index. They will compete in these flights regardless of what division their team plays in:

                       Flight A                       lower than 8.0 + those without Handicap Index
                       Flight B                       8.1 – 16.0 Handicap Index
                       Flight C                       16.1 – 24.0 Handicap Index
                       Flight D                       24.1 and above Handicap Index

  2. The players who score the highest points after all participants have completed 36-holes of play shall be declared champions of their Flight.
  3. To win any of the Individual Awards a player must play both courses. Players who play both their rounds on the same golf course will only compete for the Best 18-hole Score on that course.

5. TEAM COMPOSITION

5.1. The PAL Seniors’ Interclub is a golf competition for Senior Amateur Male golfers.

5.2. Professional golfers whether Touring or Teaching Professionals are not allowed to play in the tournament.

5.3. A team may consist of 6, 7 or 8 players.

5.4. ROSTER OF MEMBERS – All participating clubs will be required to submit their Roster of Members on or before January 31, 2023.

  1. A team will be disqualified if it fails to submit its Clubs’ Roster of Members on or before the designated date.
  2. No changes or additions will be allowed once the Roster has been submitted except in case of Rule 5.4c below.
  3. Teams that need to add names to their submitted Roster after January 31, 2023 may do so by writing a letter to the Tournament Committee before the 17th of February 2023. No changes will be allowed after the 17th of February 2023.
  4. The team captain will be notified immediately by the Tournament Secretariat if the Tournament Committee has approved or not the request for adding a player to the team roster submitted after the deadline set.

5.5. At the discretion of the Tournament Executive Committee, a club may field more than one team following the restrictions:

  1. No player in Team B (2nd team) must have a lower handicap index than any player in Team A (1st team).*
  2. Both teams cannot play in the same division.
  3. A player can play for only one (1) team.**

    Penalty:
    *   Disqualification of both teams
    ** Disqualification of the succeeding team/s the player has played for.

5.6. REPLACEMENT OF PLAYERS – Members of the team who have already played a round CANNOT BE REPLACED. The team may be disqualified for fielding more than 8 players if it replaces a player who has already played a round.

6. DISQUALIFICATION / SUSPENSION

6.1. TEAM DISQUALIFICATION – Disqualification of a team shall mean the disqualification of all its members and their scores will no longer be counted in the determination of team and individual standings. Grounds for disqualification of a team shall be the following:

  1. Non-attendance of a Team Captain or his representative during the Team Captains Meeting.
  2. Failure to submit the Clubs’ Roster of Members on or before January 31, 2023.
  3. Fielding an ineligible player. An ineligible player shall be defined as:

    1. A player whose name does not appear in the Roster of Members that the club/team had submitted on or before January 31, 2023.
    2. A player whose addition to the Roster has not been approved by the Tournament Committee.
    3. A player who has already played more than 36-holes/2 rounds.
    4. A player who has played for another team in an earlier round.
    5. A player who has assumed another person’s identity.
    6. A player who has not fulfilled the travel requirements of Philippine Airlines.

  4. Fielding more than eight (8) players.
  5. Fielding less than three (3) players on any day of the competition.
  6. Non-payment of the team entry fee on or before January 1, 2023.
  7. Commission of gross violations of the Rules and/or Etiquette that the Tournament Committee feels warrant a penalty of Disqualification.

6.2. INDIVIDUAL DISQUALIFICATION – Disqualification of any player under the Rules of Golf in the first round he has played shall not be effective for the second round unless the Tournament Committee determines otherwise.

6.3. SUSPENSION OF DISQUALIFIED TEAMS – A team that has been disqualified for violation of Interclub Rules shall be suspended from participation in the next PAL Interclub and must reapply to be accepted to join succeeding Interclubs. However, the Tournament Committee may waive the suspension for reasons it may deem proper.

7. PAIRINGS AND TEE-TIMES

7.1. Pairings and Starting times for the first two days of play shall be based on team’s average handicap index. Pairings and Starting times for the third and final days of play shall be based on scores which will reflect team standings.

7.2. Pairings shall indicate team names only. Team Captains should provide the starters with the names of their players within 30 minutes before the scheduled tee time of his first player to tee-off. Changes may still be made before the player’s tee-off except when Rule 1.3 below is being implemented.

7.3. At the option of the Committee, it may require team captains to submit their tee-time assignments in sealed envelopes. Tee-time assignments will be deemed final once these sealed envelopes have been submitted to the starters.

7.4. The Committee reserves the right to alter the pairings and tee-times if it feels that such actions are for the best interest of the tournament. Teams and their respective who refuse to follow such changes will be disqualified for the tournament.

8. REQUESTS FOR TEE TIMES/PLAYING DATES

The Tournament Committee will not entertain any requests for tee times or playing dates. Players who join the tournament should be ready to play on any of the dates and tee-times assigned to them by the Committee.

9. LATE TO TEE

A player is late to tee if he is not on the tee, ready to play, when the starter calls the first player in his flight to the tee. The late player is not disqualified. He will score zero (0) points on the hole/s that he failed to play and he will be allowed to join his assigned group on the tee of the next hole to be played.

10. PACE OF PLAY

10.1. All players must maintain the proper Pace of Play at all times. If a group falls behind by having an open hole in front of them, they will be warned by a rules official and asked to speed up play and keep pace with the group ahead.

10.2. If they do not, in the opinion of the official, make a conscious effort to speed up play in the next few holes, the rules official will time all members of the group.

10.3. The rules official doing the timing shall be the sole judge of when it is the players turn to play and he is able to play without interference or distraction. Any player who takes more than forty (40) seconds to play his shot from the time it is his turn to play shall incur a BAD TIME and be subject to the following penalties:

                     First BAD TIME Warning
                     Second BAD TIME One- Stroke Penalty
                     Third BAD TIME Two-Strokes Penalty
                     Fourth BAD TIME Disqualification

10.4. The group will be timed until they have regained their proper position on the course.

10.5. A player will carry his bad time for the rest of the round in case their flight falls out of position again.

11. STOPPING AT THE CLUBHOUSE / TEE HOUSES

Players are not allowed to unduly delay play by stopping at the clubhouse/tee houses to sit down, order food and have refreshments. Penalty for Breach: 2 points deduction from the team score for the day for each infraction.

12. CELLULAR PHONES

Cellular phones should be placed on silent mode and should not be used during play of a hole. Penalty for Breach: Two strokes penalty per Breach (Maximum of Four strokes per round).

13. CADDIES, UMBRELLA BOYS / GIRLS

13.1. Only caddies and umbrella boys/girls accredited by the host clubs may be employed.

13.2. Players are not allowed to caddy for other players. Penalty for breach of 13.1 & Disqualification of player.

14. GOLF BALLS/GOLF CLUBS

Only golf balls and golf clubs which conform to the Rules of Golf shall be used during the tournament. Penalty for breach: Disqualification of player.

15. PICK-UP

To promote faster play, a player who no longer has any chance to score a point on a hole MUST pick-up his ball and discontinue play of the hole. He shall score zero (0) points for the hole and MUST mark his score on that hole with an “X” to indicate a pick-up.

Note:

  1. Signing for a score higher than a Double Bogey shall mean that the player has made such a score and his team will be subject to the penalty clause of this rule.
  2. The breach of the condition by the player does not free the team from the penalties of this rule.

Penalty for Breach: 2 points deduction from the team score for the day for each infraction.

However, the team penalty will not apply if:

  1. The Committee determines after the game that the player had incurred a penalty stroke and the player was not aware of the penalty when he holed out on the hole in question;
  2. The player is in doubt as to procedure and/or penalty strokes and the matter has to be referred to the Committee after the game.

16. SCORECARDS / MARKERS

16.1. MARKER – Each player shall be assigned by the Committee as a marker to record the scores of another player in the same flight. It is highly recommended that before they start play of the next hole, the MARKER verifies with the player he is scoring on how many strokes he had played from the previously played hole.

16.2. SCORING – The marker shall record the GROSS SCORE of the player and mark pick-ups with an “X”

16.3. MARKERS DISQUALIFICATION – The Committee may disqualify the marker if it is shown that he has deliberately violated Rule 16-1.2 above and/or deliberately performed actions so another player may be disqualified.

16.4. SUBMISSION –The scorecard is deemed to have been submitted when the player leaves the scoring recording area with both feet.

16.5. TO AVOID PENALTIES, PLAYERS ARE REMINDED TO:

  1. Retrieve their scorecard from their marker IMMEDIATELY after they leave the putting green of their last hole;
  2. Check their scorecards for correctness and make sure that their GROSS SCORES are legibly indicated on the card. Holes picked-up must be marked with an “X”;
  3. Settle any doubtful points with the marker and/or the Committee before signing the scorecard.
  4. Clear and clarify with the Scorers any illegible scores on the scorecard before submitting it. Scores not legibly written will be interpreted by the Committee at its sole discretion;
  5. Make sure the marker has signed the scorecard
  6. Return the scorecard to the Committee before any member of any flight following them has submitted their scorecard/s or within fifteen (15) minutes of holing out if they are the last flight of the morning or afternoon set. Penalty for breach: Disqualification

17. TEAM AWARDS

17.1. The Champion Team shall take possession of the permanent PAL Trophy for one year while the members of the team shall receive medals. A team that wins the permanent trophy for three (3) consecutive years shall be allowed to keep the championship trophy.

17.2. The Champions of the Championship, Founders Aviator, Sportswriters and Friendship Divisions as well as the First and Second Runners-up shall be awarded trophies while the members of the teams shall receive medals.

17.3. INTERNATIONAL TROPHY – The International trophy shall be given to the international team that scores the highest points among the overseas teams entered in the tournament regardless of what division they are playing in.

18. INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

18.1. Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, First Runner-Up and Second Runner-up of each of the Flights.

18.2. SPECIAL AWARDS – The following Special Awards will be given:

• Hole-in-One
• Highest 18-hole Points Scored on each course

19. TIES

19.1. TEAM COMPETITION – Ties in the team competition shall be settled by comparing scores and determining the winner on the basis of:

  1. The final day total points of the fourth player (score that did not count), then by
  2. The total team points of the last 54-holes, then by
  3. The total team points over the last 36-holes, then by
  4. The total team points over the last 18-holes, then by
  5. Drawing of lots

19.2. INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION – Ties in the individual competition shall be settled by com-paring scores and determining the winner on the basis of:

  1. The best 18-hole points of the players, then by
  2. The second round points by the players, then by
  3. Lower Handicap Index

19.3. SPECIAL AWARDS – Ties in the Special Awards shall be settled by the USGA Tiebreak System.

20. CLOSE OF COMPETITION

The competition shall be deemed closed when the Championship Trophy of the division concerned has been awarded to the winner.

21. TOURNAMENT LOCAL RULES

These Tournament Local Rules shall be in effect for all venues of the PAL Seniors Interclub:

21.1. GOLF CARTS – Mandatory use of golf carts on cart sharing for both courses.

21.2. TIME OF STARTING – The five (5) minute allowance for late to tee is NOT IN EFFECT. The player gets zero (0) points for the holes he missed and may join his assigned group on the tee of the next hole to be played.

21.3. PRACTICE ON COURSE NOT PLAYED – Once the first round of the tournament has started, players may not practice on any course.

21.4. RULES ISSUES IN STROKE PLAY – A player who is uncertain about the right procedure while playing a hole may complete the hole with two balls without penalty.

  1.  The player must decide to play two balls after the uncertain situation arises and before making a stroke.
  2. The player should choose which ball will count if the Rules allow the procedure used for that ball, by announcing that choice to his marker or another player before making a stroke.
  3. If the player does not choose in time, the ball played first is treated as the ball chosen by default.
  4. The player must report the facts of the situation to the Committee before returning the scorecard, even if the player scores the same with both balls. The player is disqualified if he fails to do so.

21.5. PREFERRED LIES – In the event that the tournament is to be played under preferred lies, the following rule shall be in effect:

When any part of a player’s ball touches part of the general area cut to fairway height or less, the player may take free relief once by placing the original ball or another ball within one scorecard length from the reference point (spot of the original ball) and playing it from this relief area:

• Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point, and
• Must be in the general area.

22. DEFINITION OF TERMS

22.1. ROSTER OF MEMBERS – The Roster of Members is a list of all the members of the Club.

22.2. TEAM LINE-UP – The Team Line-up is the final list of 6, 7 or 8 members of the Club who will play in the tournament. The Team Line-up MUST be derived from the Roster of Members of the Club.

22.3. HANDICAP INDEX – a player’s January 1, 2023 handicap index (WHS, GHIN, Club Certified Handicap Index).

22.4. TEAM HANDICAP INDEX – The team’s lowest six (6) handicap index average. It is used for classification purposes.

23. ADVISORY ON THE RULES

Rule 10.3b What a Caddie May Do

These are examples of what caddie is allowed and not allowed to do:

(1) Actions always allowed. A caddie may always take these actions when allowed under the Rules:

• Carry, transport and handle the player’s clubs and other equipment (including driving a cart of pulling a trolley).

• Search for the player’s ball (Rule 7.1).

• Give information, advice and other help before the stroke is made (Rules 10.2a and 10.2b).

• Smooth bunkers or take other actions to care for the course (Rules 8.2 Exception, 8.3 Exception and 12.2b (2) and (3).

• Remove sand and loose soil and repair damage on the putting green (Rule 13.1c).

• Remove or attend the flagstick (rule 13.2b).

• Mark the spot of the player’s ball and lift and replace the ball on the putting green (rules 14.1b Exception and 14.2b).

• Clean the player’s ball (Rule 14.1c).

• Remove loose impediments and movable obstructions (Rules 15.1 and 15.2).

(2) Actions Allowed Only With Player’s Authorization. A caddie may take these actions only when the Rules allow the player to take them and only with the player’s authorization (which must be given specially each time rather than given generally for a round).

• Restore conditions that were worsened after the player’s ball came to rest (Rule 8.1d).

• When the player’s ball is anywhere except on the putting green, lift the player’s ball under a Rule requiring it to be replaced or after the player has decided to take relief under a Rule (Rule 14.1b).

(3) Actions Not Allowed. A caddie is not allowed to take these actions for the player:

• Deliberately stand on or close to an extension of the line of play behind the player’s ball when the player begins taking a stance for the stroke and until the stroke is made (Rule 10.2b (4)) or take other action prohibited by Rule 10.2b.

• Replace a ball, unless the caddie had lifted or moved the ball (Rule 14.2b).

• Drop or place a ball in a relief area (Rule 14.3).

• Decide to take a relief under a Rule, the caddie may advise the player to do so but the player must decide.

EFFECTIVITY

These Rules shall be effective on the 74th PAL Seniors Interclub in Cebu.

APPENDIX I

CLASSIFICATION OF TEAMS

Classification of club/teams in the PAL Seniors Interclub shall be based on the lowest six (6) handicap index of the team members. The classification shall be done in the following manner:

1.

ONLINE REGISTRATION – On or before February 17, 2023, all team captains are required to register online their final team line-up listing the names of the players who will compose their team as well as the January 1, 2023 handicap index of the players in his team. Teams failing to register after the set deadline will be automatically assigned to the Championship Division.

2.

The Committee computes the team average by taking into consideration the lowest six (6) handicap indexes of the members of the team.

3.

Teams will be ranked according to their team’s handicap average and grouped according to the following distribution:

Championship Division

Top 4 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 4th ranked Team.

Founders Division

Next 16 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 16th ranked Team.

Aviator Division

Next 28 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28 th ranked Team.

Sportswriter Division

Next 28 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28th ranked team.

Friendship Division

Rest of the teams

The Tournament Committee has the discretion to change the format of team distribution in the best interest of the Tournament.

4.

PLAYERS WITHOUT HANDICAP INDEX – If a player has no January 1, 2023 Handicap Index, he will be assigned a zero (0) handicap index.

5.

SUBMITTING WRONG HANDICAPS – A Team that submits incorrect or falsified handicaps of their players shall be disqualified from the tournament.

6.

HANDICAP INDEXES DO NOT MATCH ABILITIES – At any time during the competition, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to reclassify the division of a team if the submitted handicap index of any team member does not match the abilities they have shown on the course.

7.

CHANGES IN LINE-UP – Team classification may change whenever a team makes any changes in its line-up and the Tournament Committee has evaluated such changes. However, no team shall be reclassified to a lower division as a result of changes in the line-up of a team.

8.

COMMITTEE PREROGATIVE – The Tournament Committee reserves the right to classify or reclassify any team/s at any time or in any manner it deems fit if it thinks that such actions are for the good of the tournament.

APPENDIX II

TRAVEL GUIDELINES AND POLICIES

1.

Next 28 Teams + Teams within 1 team handicap average of the 28 th ranked Team.

Travel Requirements / Privileges

  1. To be eligible, all Interclub players must be holding a PAL revenue ticket.
  2. To be eligible, all team members of International Teams must embark/disembark from their state or country of foreign origin. (U.S. teams from the U.S., Australian Teams from Australia, etc.)
  3. Travel to and from the venue of the PAL Interclub Golf Tournament MUST be made on Philippine Airlines.
  4. Philippine Airlines will issue Team Captain’s complimentary airline tickets for their attendance in the Team Captain’s Meeting and the tournament proper. The issuance of these complimentary tickets will be subject to the provision (3) hereunder.
  5. Team members are provided special discounted fares on Philippine Airlines from their point of origin to the venue of the tournament.
  6. A Player may avail of any PAL promo fare available in the market/travel agent and may likewise be counted in the number of tickets required to be purchased prior to issuance of team captain’s ticket.
  7. A Player may bring along one (1) traveling companion whose travel fares shall be at the same discounted rate as the player. The ticket of the player and his companion must have the same routing and must be purchased from the same PAL Ticket Office but not necessarily at the same time. Companion may only avail of the special fare after purchase of the player/participant’s ticket
  8. Player traveling on non-revenue PAL tickets (ID00/ID75/AD75 or Award Tickets) may play in the tournament but their scores will not be counted and will not be eligible for any individual awards.
  9. Players traveling to the tournament venue using other airline tickets are deemed ineligible and are disqualified from participating in the tournament.

2.

Travel Period

  1. Discounted tickets will be available for purchase one (1) month before the start of the tournament and will be valid for use within the travel period defined by Philippine Airlines.
  2. A member of a team arriving in the Philippines within six (6) months prior to the tournament shall be deemed to be qualified provided that he is listed in the Team’s Roster of Members, and provided that the Tournament Committee is given evidence that his travel to and from his home team’s state or country of origin has been made on Philippine Airlines. Such evidence shall be the actual unused portion of his return PAL air ticket as well as the proof of arrival based on the passport arrival stamp of the player. Failure to provide such evidence shall be declined issuance of the domestic Interclub ticket and will likewise be considered an ineligible player.

3.

Rules on Complimentary Ticket Privilege for Team Captains

  1. The Team Captain’s complimentary ticket to the 1st Team Captain’s Meeting shall be issued only upon Secretariat’s receipt of the team’s completed S1 Form on a given deadline. Failure to submit S1 Form on the specified date will result to the non-issuance of complimentary team captain’s ticket and will forfeit team’s participation to the upcoming Interclub tournament.
  2. The Team Captain’s complimentary ticket to the tournament proper is to be issued only when the required number of tickets for each team is confirmed to have been purchased.

    1. The Senior Division Team Captain’s complimentary tickets can only be issued when the purchase of a minimum of six (6) tickets for the team has been confirmed.
    2. Complimentary ticket for a Regular Men’s Division Team Captain can only be issued when the purchase of a minimum of eight (8) tickets has been confirmed for the team.
    3. If a player is competing in both divisions, his ticket will only be counted as a purchased ticket in the Senior Division.

  3. The complimentary tickets may be assigned to another member or representative of the team provided he will:

    1. Be formally endorsed by an email letter by the official team captain.
    2. Register during the 1st Team Captains Meeting.
    3. Fill-up and submit all required Interclub forms with correct/updated club/team information.
    4. Relay to the team captain, all issues discussed during the 1 st Team Captain’s meeting.

4.

Special Excess Baggage Charge for Golfing Equipment of Registered Players

PAL Interclub Guidelines allows provision for Special Excess Baggage Charge/Allowance for golfing equipment of registered players on top of the normal baggage allowance of PAL and PAL Express.

  1. WEIGHT SYSTEM
    • 25kg free baggage allowance for the golf equipment of a registered player traveling each way from point of origin to the tournament venue and vice versa. Any weight in excess of the 25kg allowance for golf equipment shall be assessed with the normal charges.
  2. PIECE SYSTEM
    • special charge of USD50.00 per way on the extra baggage allowance for the golf equipment not exceeding 25kg of a registered player traveling from point of origin to the tournament venue and vice-versa.

Special baggage allowance shall be applied at PAL Check-in counter.

5.

Rule on Surface Travel

Local Teams who are based close to the venue of the tournament are allowed to travel by land or sea ferry. However, team members are required to purchase round-trip discounted tickets on PAL to any one local destination during the tournament period. These tickets will be valid within the travel period defined by PAL with block-out periods, if applicable.

6.

Travel Privileges of the Host Club Teams

The registered members of the teams of the host clubs may avail of special discounted fares on Philippine Airlines from their point of origin to Manila or vice versa. The discounted ticket should be purchased during the tournament period and the tickets will be valid for travel within the travel period defined by PAL with block-out periods, if applicable.

7.

Rebooking Fees

The first rebooking fee of Interclub ticket is waived. Subsequent changes will be charged the normal rebooking fees. Passengers will be asked to pay for the FARE DIFFERENCE if the original fare of the purchased ticket is no longer available.

ELIGIBILITY

Only bonafide members, spouses, dependents, and guests of Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club, Inc. and Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club, Inc. are eligible to participate in the tournament. The tournament is an all-amateur tournament and professionals are not eligible to compete.

RULES

The tournament will be governed by:

1. The Rules of Golf according to the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews;
2. The local rules as printed on the reverse of the official scorecards of Tagaytay Highlands and Tagaytay Midlands; and
3. Tournament rules that are listed in this form and announcements made before the tournament.

TEE-OFF AND REGISTRATION

Before registering, please check your team’s assigned golf course for the day as the field will be divided into two groups.

Registration opens at 6:15 a.m. everyday. Tee-off will be a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. for Highlands Course & Midlands Golf Course for the six-day event.

All participants are required to register at least 1 hour before the Shotgun start at Highlands and Midlands.

For Highlands, last shuttle to respective holes will be at 7:45 am. There will be another shotgun to signify end of play.

FORMAT

  • 2-Man Team Competition using the Scramble Format

At the start of every hole, each player hits a tee shot and one of the two shots is selected. Through the green, the selected ball can be lifted, cleaned and placed within one scorecard length from its original spot, and the second ball must be placed within one scorecard length of the selected ball provided that the ball must be placed not nearer the hole, as that of the chosen ball. This process is repeated until play of the hole is completed. On the green, the second ball must be placed within one putter head of the selected ball, not nearer the hole. Penalty for Breach of any of these special rules is 2 strokes for the team. Players are cautioned not to putt-through unless both players have already played their shots. The team is considered to have holed-out if the ball has already gone in the hole and no further stroke will be permitted.

TEAM COMPOSITION

The difference between the handicaps of the partners must not exceed 8 STROKES. In case the handicap difference exceeds 8 strokes, the higher handicap will be adjusted to meet the maximum 8 strokes difference.

HANDICAPS

Each player needs to submit his/her official index from WHS as of February 2023. If a player has more than one index, the lower index should be submitted. Those members who wish to join but have no Official Club Handicap may submit their lowest certified handicap index from other clubs. Those with no certified handicap indexes or those who fail to submit their latest official index from WHS on or before February 7, 2023
will be given a handicap of zero (0).

Foreign participants may submit handicap index cards duly recognized by the USGA or the R&A Golf Club of St. Andrews.

Maximum handicap for member, spouses and dependents will be pegged at 36.

The maximum handicap for male guest is 18 and 24 for female guest.

TEAM HANDICAP COMPUTATION

40% of the combined HIGHLANDS handicap
Note: 0.5 will be rounded up to 1

THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW AND ADJUST HANDICAPS, BEFORE, DURING AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TOURNAMENT AND TO DISQUALIFY ANY PLAYERS FOUND IN VIOLATION OF THE HANDICAP RULES.

MULLIGANS

MANDATORY MULLIGAN tickets are to be sold to each participant at Php 400.00 per 18 holes. Mulligans may be used anywhere except in the putting green and must be announced to the marker before it is used.

A player may only use one (1) mulligan on the front nine (9) and one mulligan on the back nine (9). A mulligan is not valid for a hole-in-one prize, although the net score using a mulligan will count for the team. Once a mulligan is played, that ball used shall become the ball in play.

DIVISIONS

Men’s & Mixed Teams (Male & Female) shall be equally divided into three (3) groups which will be determined according to their computed HIGHLANDS TEAM HANDICAP. Ladies grouping shall be an Open Classification.

Groupings will be as follows:

Group I – 1st 1/3 of Team Handicap
Group II – 2nd 1/3 of Team Handicap
Group III – 3rd 1/3 of Team Handicap
Ladies Division – Open Classification

MIXED TEAMS (Male & Female) will be allowed on the condition that they
will be grouped in the regular division (Group I, II, or III).

TIEBREAKS

Ties will be settled as follows:

For OVER ALL, Ties will be settled by a countback starting with the lower Team Handicap, lower team net score in Midlands and lower net score in Highlands. If ties are still unresolved, it will be further be settled by Midlands hole no 10 -18 gross score, then Highlands Hole no 10-18 gross score. If still unresolved, a toss coin will determine the winner.

A team can only WIN ONE CATEGORY which ever is higher. In the event that a team scores the lowest net score & lowest gross score. The said team will be awarded as the OVERALL TEAM CHAMPION. The second best gross score will be awarded the LOW GROSS TEAM CHAMPION.

GIMME & SCORING

A GIMME circle will be used to speed up play. Every team should observe cross scoring and not let caddies do the scoring.

EAST & WEST COURSES

I. CONDITIONS OF PLAY:

Play will be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A of St. Andrews, in conjunction with the Local Rules of Wack Wack Golf & Country Club prevailing at the time of the tournament.

Any question on the tournament must be brought to the attention of the Rules Committee who’s decision shall be final.

II. EQUIPMENT:

The driver the player uses must have a club head identified by model and loft, that is named on a current list of conforming Driver Heads issued by R & A Rules limited.

Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of Rule 4-1 or 4-2: Disqualification.

III. FORMAT:

The Committee will compute the Stableford Points corresponding to the player’s net scores as follows:

 There will be an eighteen (20) inches gimme circle around the hole to speed up play.

IV. SCORING:

Each team shall serve as “marker” of the players from the other team in the same flight. The marker shall be responsible for recording the GROSS SCORES of the players. Both team members must sign their scorecards after making sure that their marker has signed the cards.

Players are reminded to:

Check their scores hole by hole and/or scorecard for accuracy.

Settle any doubtful score with the marker or the Rules Committee.

Make sure that the markers have signed the scorecard.

Return the scorecard to the Committee immediately after completing the round; Otherwise, it will be considered as “no score”

Penalty for breach of Rule 3 – 3b: Disqualification.

V. HANDICAP RULES:

The Wack Wack Member and their guest partner will be using the Lowest Handicap from January to February 2023.

Maximum handicap for the Wack Wack Member is 36 while maximum handicap for  Guests partner is 18 for Men and 24 for Ladies.

VI. CLASSIFICATION:

Teams will be classified based on the Wack Wack Member’s handicap. Teams will be classified into the following:

Group I   –  (Handicap 0-12)

Group II   –  (Handicap 13-24)

Group III   –  (Handicap 25 & ABOVE)

Seniors DIV. I  55-65 YEARS OLD (BOTH PARTNERS)

Seniors DIV. II  66 YEARS OLD & ABOVE (BOTH PARTNERS)

VII. TEE MARKERS:

Men  –  Blue Tee

Seniors  –   White Tee (Age 55 -69 yrs old &)

If still tied, total gross score of last 3 holes (16 to 18 at the West Course);

If still tied, draw lots.

X. LOCAL RULES:

Distance Measuring Equipment

The use of distance measuring equipment without slope during the tournament will be ALLOWED.

Hole # 3 – West Course

For all balls that enter the water hazard on the front side of the green, the player may use the designated drop area as an additional option with 1 stroke penalty.

Hole # 7 – West Course

For all balls that enter the water hazard on the front side of the green, the player may use the designated drop area as an additional option with 1 stroke penalty.

Hole # 11 – East Course

For all balls that enter the water hazard on the front side of the green, the player may use the designated drop area as an additional option with 1 stroke penalty.

Hole # 13 – East Course

For all balls that enter the water hazard on the front side of the green, the player may use the designated drop area as an additional option with 1 stroke penalty.

PROTECTED AREAS

Play prohibited. Under penalty of ONE (1) stroke, proceed under Rule 26-1. the player may use the designated drop area with 1 stroke penalty.

XI. MULLIGANS:

It is compulsory for all players to purchase two (2) mulligans at PHP 500.00 each. Mulligans may be used one (1) on each nine (Holes 1-9 & 10-18)                     anywhere on the course except on the putting green. The player should announce if he is going to use his/her Mulligan, then PLACE his/her ball.

Provisional ball cannot be used as a Mulligan. Mulligans are not valid to win a Hole-in-One prize.

XII. CADDIE FEE—PHP 1000.00 MINIMUM

Please pay your caddie in cash immediately after your round.

XIII. RAFFLES PRIZES:

All participants are eligible to win raffle prizes. Physical presence is required to win raffle prizes.

XIV. TOURNAMENT GIVEAWAYS:

All participants shall receive Fenix Shirt as giveaways.

XVIII. AWARDS NIGHT:

Only participants are allowed in the awards night on March 11, 2023, 6:00PM  at the Bill Shaw Pavilion.

The Tournament Committee reserves the right to change/amend Rules, pairings and all matters related to the tournament. Its decision shall be final.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY

The 22nd Don Celso S. Tuason & Valley Founders’ Cup conducted in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A Rules, USGA and the Local Rules of Valley Golf and Country Club, Inc.

ELIGIBILTY: Valley members in good standing with established WHS are eligible to participate.

MANNER OF PLAY: 36-hole, two-day, two-player team competition. Each team will consist of one VGCCI member and one guest, except for the Sponsors Division, where two guests or two members may compete.

HANDICAPPING:

  1. MEMBERS – January 1, 2023 WHS Index. MAXIMUM ALLOWED HANDICAP IS 36.
  2. GUESTS – January 1, 2023 WHS Index. MAXIMUM OF 15.6 INDEX. In case the guest has a higher index than 15.6, he/she will play the maximum index allowed. If the guest has no WHS or certified handicap by a USGA/R&A accredited club, his/her handicap for the tournament shall be zero (0).

  1. There will be four (4) regular divisions based on the MEMBERS’ WHS handicap indices as follows:|

GIMME CIRCLE

All players making a hole-in-one on the same Par-3 hole for the duration of the tournament will share equally in the prize for that particular hole, unless otherwise stipulated by the sponsor. Mulligans are not entitled to any Hole-In-One Prizes. Twosomes as per sponsors’ condition/dictate are also not entitled for Hole-In-One prizes.
